Missa's the kind of "first time parent" who gets scared whenever he sees his kid jumping off the swings or scuffing up his knees
Meanwhile Phil's the type of dad who sees his kid eating dirt and goes "yeah that's probably good for his immune system"

ok to add more onto his I think takenaka understands like straightforward thoughts. "why do I have depression" just innately has so many different answers to it just in general because do you say its just general disposition. do you say what's bothering her at that moment do you tell her you can hear her looping thoughts where she's trying so hard to be optimistic but every little thing is like a clue to her to stop caring. do you stop listening. this is a really awkawrd thing to answer and also hes NOT a therapist so STOP ASKING HIM but also you know she kind of threw it out there like /hj... im /hj.... but also......

Most shows with overpowered supernatural characters always try to come up with elaborate excuses to explain why the characters can’t just magic themselves out of every situation. Good Omens doesn’t really do that, but you don’t really question it because you completely buy that these morons are so unequivocally incompetent that they straight up forget that they have the powers of fucking demigods. They’re like high-level d&d characters who only use the same three moves and have completely forgotten about the 73 magic items sitting in their inventory.
