that sword was bro’s. that roxy took, when she thought every single one of her friends were dead because of the condesce. when she thought she was alone and going to die without helping anyone.

that she then used to fucking stab the condesce in the back

im sorry but that was perfect that was so good im not going to be over it for the rest of my LIFE

im so proud of him. hes done so well, this is all ive ever wanted

okay here’s the thing that was incredibly fast thinking and smart of dave to do

if dirk died right there by the jack’s hands he would’ve died heroic and not be able to be resurrected

this way it’s neither heroic nor just and both enemies die at the same time

after that’s done, dave can take back dirk and terezi to a safer time and teleport away

that took both incredible courage - to cut off your brother’s head, whom you’ve literally just had a heartfelt conversation with like 10 minutes ago - and incredible intelligence.

Here are the sketches for HIC! I had to do sets with and without her weapon.

I was VERY VERY EXCITED to work on this part of collide. The direction from Andrew was basically ‘Lord English in Undertale style’ so I did several mock ups. The first image is the one that made it into the final flash (without colors). I also did several fullbody sprites, but you don’t get the cool Pool Ball Eyes animation from it because it’s so small.
