Whoa! A comic! And it’s an annoyingly long post! Sorry about that.

Nothing particularly original about this comic (I’m sure it’s been done a million times before). My Breath of the Wild comics are drawn with the mindset that Zelda is the playable character, not Link *cough* do it Nintendo *cough*. If this comic bummed you out, if it helps any, this comic is a prequel to this sad Zelda comic (where Fi is there for some reason).

Normally it takes me a long ass time to draw a high end comic like this, but I got this done way faster cause I did all the sketching in Photoshop and then did the line art and other stuff in Clip Studio Paint rather than doing the whole comic process in Clip Studio Paint. For the sake of reference, this comic only took a week to draw where as the last time I drew a comic this fancy it took me an entire month.

I really like the way Sakurai said he didn’t include BOTW Princsss Zelda “because she prefers her studies instead of fighting” because it implies that every other Princess Zelda is 100% ready to Throw Down

So if BOTW Zelda could speak to the other Zeldas it would boil down to:

I love the concept of Link’s character so much I drew 72 frames about him coming to terms with his shitty destiny with the help of his former selves, and I regret nothing :V I started this back in august 2017 but only got about halfway before I got distracted, so there’s some jarring style changes at times but at least it only looks better the further you get. Hope you guys like it, I love this song with the triforce trios and it was really fun to make! (I tried to put this on youtube btw but it got taken down within minutes so the tumblr player will have to do)

decided to have a go at designing a zelda this morning 

oooop I ACTUALLY did another odd crossover??  - this time with Zelda and The Incredibles. - (a parody of the famous “ my super suit?”-scene)

Remember this post about my WW AU where Link’s Grandma dons the hero’s clothes to save Link and Aryll? Well I wrote out a whole little comic to introduce the concept. 

I was thinking of having a whole little zine with this comic and some new drawings in time for DINK next month! So look forward to that in the future!
