right so with qsmp starting we're all gonna remember to archive the vods right. we aren't going to have a repeat of like 6 million smps before this right
i have an entire page here of resources you can use to archive. i would personally recommend twitchlink to save vods because it allows you to save streams as they're live meaning you won't lose things like audio to copyright issues o7
the way i would go about archiving this would be to start a spreadsheet with individual tabs for each member, and having columns for the stream title, stream date, original twitch link, a link to the vod reuploaded on archive.org and a column for indicating the status of that vod (is it archived, do you have links to both the original vod and the archive or just the original, etc).
for future references you can use twitchtracker to see all clips + records of a twotch user's streams. if a vod is lost you will at least be able to find the title and date of it + whatever clips from it may have been made.
use archive.org to upload vods. i would not recommend trying to save vods with the wayback machine as your sole form of archiving vods because it is almost certain that the video file will break and therefore will make it inaccessible.
