Absolutely wild that I've studied 0 Portuguese but because of QSMP and watching so many of Pac's streams I immediately recognized that this dude in a random cat video I was watching was speaking Portuguese and I could understand half of what he was saying.
you know i don't really want to get into a discussion about increased scrutiny for people who already care about things like diversity and accessibility but i do think it's frustrating to see creative projects from people who do really care about including those values in their work get completely disproportionate criticism because people have set their own expectations about them so high. i'll see people be like 'this should've had [thing no similar projects have and yet is being demanded like it's owed or required of this specific person over anyone else]' or absolutely blasting someone for not including such and such thing that people have decided is necessary solely coming from this one person/anyone they feel they can pressure in this way. and this disproportionately affects indie creators, to the point where i see people DEMANDING certain standards from people who have far less resources and funds than major media corporations. and it's like okay do y'all have any sense of scale or do you think berating people who actually care about this shit and are trying is better than advocating for progress and change in spaces where it's far less accepted and would be far more impactful. also do you think constantly berating people who do put effort into this stuff is a good way to encourage them to continue or like what
Pac Tweeted this btw. Oh my god they're all gonna be insufferable. I actually can not wait
I wouldn't put it past him to post this but I wanted to double-check and sure enough:

Frickin mind-boggling googling yourself on a whim and finding out your article is listed as a resource on a website and is cited in multiple college papers.
I normally don't repost stuff but OMFG
if anyone finds the op on douyin I'm grateful 🙏

We’re never seeing Pac on twitch again
[ tw for racism and xenophobia ]
QSMPblr, I have a favor to ask.
As you might or might have not known, Mike has been participating in a hispanic event called 'Hormigeo' for the past week as the only Brazilian. Since Tuesday, he has been receiving racist comments by some streamers.
Yesterday, Mike saw that a streamer called Farfadox was building a house and he decided to compliment it and give him a rose. Farfadox took the flower and replied it 'thank you, monkey'. (Clip)
Today, a streamer known as Hasvik was killing Mike in the game and before killing him, Hasvik said 'Im sorry, but I prefer cold monkey soup'. (Clip)
This is completely unneceptable behavior, and I ask if you guys are able to go into these two streamers twitch pages (Farfadox , Hasvik ) and report them for hateful conduct, under slurs and symbols. It would be appreciated.
Mike does not deserve this. He was so excited to play in this hispanic event, asking other streamers to only speak to him in Spanish so he could learn and connect with them. And what does he get in return, racist and xenophobic remarks? Unneceptable.
Thank you and have a good night ♡
Having a real cultural differences moment here I think because I just got a comment saying “viado” (about qCellbit) and I went to translate it and holy SHIT!! You cannot say that word in the US in most places!!
Hmm
Absolutely devastated to see q!Pac being cursed with the same affliction as q!Quackity (people drawing him with blue eyes)
It really bums me out as a Mexican, but I know people can be better about it.
A few months ago when a lot of people were suddenly drawing Quackity with blue eyes for no reason, an artist I really like drew him with blue eyes too, and it made me so sad I actually sent them a private message explaining why it really hurt seeing a Mexican dude being drawn with blue eyes. I told them they didn’t need to respond, but I asked them to please consider what I said the next time they wanted to draw him.
I really didn’t expect anything, but not only have they never drawn him with blue eyes since, they also changed the art of him that had blue eyes.
I genuinely think that most people who do this don’t do it with malicious intent; it’s a matter of sheer oblivious ignorance. But ignorance or no, we still need to take responsibility for the effect our actions have on other people, especially since ignorance is a form of privilege. (Ignorance about cultural differences is another matter, but I’m talking about this specific example of drawing non-white characters with blue eyes and why that Sucks).
As fans of QSMP (and any series really, but especially one like QSMP), we need to be conscious of the way we portray characters, especially ones who aren’t straight cis white dudes. Racism is unfortunately a problem in every fandom, but I think that because QSMP is all about uniting people from different cultures and backgrounds, most people in the community are willing to listen and learn with an open mind. I hope that being in a community like this can help people reevaluate their biases and assumptions, and eventually learn why they shouldn’t slap blue eyes on characters like Quackity or Pac.

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
We've all been wondering how qFit has been doing down in the corpse hole this whole time meanwhile right now he's canonically conked out against a cave wall dreaming about owning a rustic farm, looking after two chickens named after a british breakfast meal, adopting a white cat that's just an off brand version of Madagio, fishing up anchovies and climbing rock walls, and threatening a random dude with violence for being rude, all while Phil's disembodied voice mocks him passive aggressively for not being as good of a farmer as he, Felipe Minecraft, is yet. So yeah I think it's safe to say he has definitely gone insane
