Overview

Led by a talented, veteran development team at Capcom, the new game features tight side-scrolling action gameplay the series is known for while completely revolutionizing the experience for modern consoles. Mega Man 11 will be a great entry for both fans and newcomers to the series to dive into as it retains its signature challenge while offering a variety of difficulty options. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and Windows PC in late 2018.

The classic series takes a leap forward in visual presentation in Mega Man 11 with a 2.5D design direction introducing beautiful, completely hand-drawn characters and environments. A freshly redesigned Mega Man takes on Dr. Wily’s berserk machines, defeating Robot Master bosses and taking their weapons, in an ever-evolving fight for justice with new and unique enemy designs. This is just a small taste of information of what’s to come in Mega Man 11 alongside the start of the series’ 30th anniversary year, and fans can look forward to more details on the game in Summer 2018.

• Rowlet’s evolution is called Decidueye which is Grass/Ghost. It has the move Spirit Shackle that prevents opponents switching out. 
• Litten’s evolution is Incineroar with the move Darkest Lariat which ignores stat changes. It is Fire/Dark. 
• Popplio’s is called Primarina and is Water/Fairy
• The island guardians are Tapu Lele which is Psychic/Fairy with the ability Psychic Surge. Tapu Bulu which is Grass/Fairy with Grassy Surge and Tapu Mini which is Water/Fairy with Misty Surge. Each of these set their respective Terrains. Psychic Terrain prevents Priority Moves being used. They have their unique Z-Move, Guardian of Alola.
• A new Pokémon is revealed called Cosmog. It is Psychic-type with the ability Unaware.
• Alolan Persian is pure Dark-type with the abilities Fur Coat and Technician.
• In the game, they are trying to create a league and the champions of the league take on the Battle Tree where trainers like Cynthia, Wally, Blue and Red are. They can be battled against and teamed with.
• Some details have come for the communication features.Quick Communication is Local wireless only and has Single & Double Battle options. In the Festival Plaza, you have access to Single, Double, Multi Battles as well as the Battle Royal in Local and Online options. Battle Spot Free Battle has Single and Double options, as well as a Battle Royal option. Free Battle also allows you to choose between whether you want to battle Special Pokémon (Legendary & Mythical) or not Battle Spot Rating Battle only has Single and Double options, as well as the VGC ladder.
