🔥aussie films or shows
I think Aussie stars like margot robbie and Hugh jackman and even the bloody hemsworths need to come the fuck back and use their profiles to revitalise the industry. Nicole kidman should be doing ads for palace cinemas not amc. if I don't see sarah snook in a abc or sbs original drama within the next 2 years I'm writing her a fucking LETTER. idc if the local industry did little for them to begin with, internationally successful Aussies, whites especially, should be using their pull to improve the industry here. we owe James wan as well as every aussie filmmaker and actor of colour who had to go to the US for real work a fucking apology. also we need to make like the kiwis and start making movies in our accents... who gives a shit if the Americans think we sound silly we need to stop being cowards and own it... if we're gonna give the Americans tax breaks to film here we better make them set their movies here too!!!!
