to look at the first season of s&b as a soc prequel, to look at inej and kaz's relationship as it was before we met them...

kaz always respected inej's decision to never kill, he never asks that of her even though he could. instead he works around it with jesper, so she doesn't have to betray her faith. who else does he make concessions for? he's always been responsible for her because she's 'the Wraith' under his employ, but when she kills for him, makes that violation for him, he holds himself accountable for those deeds because it was in his name that she crossed the threshold of her own morals. and so to him she becomes 'my Wraith' my sins, my burden, my saviour, the one.
