Through the door entered a young woman fully decked in a yellow overall, dark curls and tanned skin a stark contrast to the violently bright colour she was wearing. She looked up at me properly, having entered the room with her head bowed down, and I was looking into a pair of the most magnificent golden eyes I had ever seen, but there was something in them. Sadness… fear, maybe? I wasn’t certain. Either way, she had avoided looking at the Commander, just keeping her gaze on me.
“Listen, your Highness.” She snapped her head back around to face me, her hands clenched into fists. “This country has been in several wars in the past few years, and magic is a weapon. I believe things might run different here than in a country that is mostly occupied with… flowers.”
“Magic is now in my country too, and we are not at war. I do however think that if an institution like this is built there, we will be at war very quickly. I would rather be occupied with flowers than war, would you not?”
“Things would most certainly have been different if my powers had been discovered in Kosmos and not in a country ruled like mine, you’re absolutely correct.“ She replied, a certain fire in her voice and golden eyes that was both curious and welcome to see. She kept her voice low too, before continuing to speak, clearly just as aware as I that the Commander is right there outside the door. “Yes, this is a prison. Yes, if I had the choice, I would, most likely, kill again.”
“Kill for yourself or for your country?” I tilted my head to the side.
“What would you kill for, Princess?”
Happy birthday @cirianne!!! I hope you have a wonderful day!
Here’s some art I commissioned from the lovely @fandomescapades for you! Based on that wonderful crossover we had thought up of Anjelika’s meeting with Alicia in Ainsville. Thank you again for this!
