@rivenreverie suggested I skip ahead and listen to this episode. I was crying within the first 10 minutes and felt like this the rest of the day:
Man your post! Man your post!
This was one of those days where I was just overwhelming thankful to do the work I'm doing. I'm not rushing, frantic, or stressed. I'm just doing this and doing then slowly. I've run errands, worked on articles, perused books, made bread, processed food, worked in the yard, and had a ridiculous amount of homemaking conversations with @rivenreverie @idyllicdomesticity and @mournerofcrows plus some other ladies. There is nothing so refreshing as homemakers excited about what they do.
I finished all of my to-do list at 330. I piddled some more but finally just sat down to use the time to rest, research, and chat. Some days, you actually get to move slow. Now to rest and then make dinner.
Also, I feel like I'm slowly slowly finding ways to get better food away from grocery stores. I just need to make sure I know how to take care of it. Plus, I really really want chickens.
