After a year or two and a lot of copy/paste, I've finally migrated BTP's old journal archive to SFLAG. I'm still going to see if I can bully the wayback machine into giving me a few more of EA's journal entries, but for now, THE JOURNAL ARCHIVES ARE COMPLETE!

Complete as they'll ever be, anyway. Things have been lost to time.

NEW PROJECTS

There are a few more masterposts I'd like to do, but the last big undertaking I'm working on is an [unofficial] EA Timeline. I've been writing one that's on a scrollable page, but it's incredibly slow-going. I'd also like to do a discography that can double as an "ultimate" EA Album Guide.

After that, I'll attempt to finish up the Merch section. But anymore than that... I don't think it'll happen. I'm all tapped out on energy and interest. Unless EA comes back, that will probably be the end of the archive.

Website Overhaul!

I’ve been working on trying to find a good theme that works for both SFLAG as it is and the archive that @emilieautumnarchives is trying to be. Also been wanting to go for a simpler look.

I have a test theme put together here (my other EA URL that I usually keep hidden). What do y’all think? Please let me know!! Seriously!!! haha

The archive would have the same theme, but with an older photo used for the sidebar header and with the theme in “night mode.”

IMPORTANT NOTE!: None of the sites will be going down at any time. I usually work on themes on this other URL before updating.

When this whole overhaul happens and I integrate BTP’s archive into mine, a lot of the old articles on SFLAG will be transferred over to @emilieautumnarchives so that SFLAG becomes solely a news-as-it-happens site. The archives will have everything else.

A gallery is still in progress.

BLOG UPDATE

I'm going to dip out for a bit and step away from the fandom. The askbox will stay open and I'll be around, but I may not post for a while.

If any new info comes out about the Instagram drama, I'll update the article, and I'll keep up with actual news posts as normal.

EDIT 10/17/2020 21:30 EA and Marc were featured in a Sinister Cyber Con interview that was streamed lived across multiple platforms. The chats were flooded with comments asking about BLM and her NAACP donation. The issue was not addressed and some commenters had their posts deleted (likely by Cyber Con staff, not EA and co.).

Regarding COVID-19

It feels like anyone with any sort of platform is making some sort of announcement now, so...

If any of you have been following for a long time, you know my place of work is shut down "through the end of the month" and possibly longer, so depending on what happens for employees, I may have some time off. Is there anything you want me to do with my unknown amount of freedom? Posts, content, etc. that you want to see. I can finish up the Costume series now and maybe do another short one if anyone wants.

Blog Updates

I've noticed a trend: people are far more interested in the past than in the present.

If only to keep this blog from getting to stagnant, I'm going to start a new series after the end of the Asylum Oracle posts. Or maybe in the middle of it, who knows? We'll be doing good old fashioned Throwback Thursdays in the very near future, where I'll set aside the blog's focus on new and current EA content to post old tour photos, media, interviews, etc.

Need feedback on that last idea. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for what you want to see.
