lol! This is old drama, circa 2011. I've written about it before.

I went to the Door Tour with my friend for my birthday. I had a VIP ticket but she didn't—she decided to come last minute—so she brought her bf for company. She wasn't an EA fan; she just wanted to hang for my birthday. She had no clue what the concerts were like.

You can watch it for yourself below. He told her to "take it off." She said "you take it off" and came up to the edge of the stage. I think he thought that she wanted him to take it off of her, not for him to take off his shirt.

So he reached for her and she slapped him. He deserved it (and, yes, he's an asshole), but I think it was partly a misunderstanding. No tears were shed when my friend finally broke up with him later on. I was not a fan.

Some people haved claimed he was drunk and was being otherwise destructive, but none of us were drinking (underaged) and I don't remember him doing anything else. But it has been over a decade.

This was also the same concert where EA was getting stalked by eBay sellers and flipped out on them in front of the venue, so it was an eventful day. I remember Veronica coming outside and calming everyone down because it happened right in front of the line. You can hear EA reference it at the beginning of this video (audio warning: immediately starts with fans screaming).

I did write EA a letter apologizing for bringing him. I was in high school at the time, deep in the depths of my full-cringe PR phase.

I'm guessing you're talking about this video:

First off, let's page @bonnytymepyrate for this one since she was actually around back in the Enchant Era. She can correct me if I'm wrong!

This is a recording of some improv (known as "Intro: Celtic Fiddle Improv" on the setlists) that was done as an opener/intro to some of the later Enchant Era shows. The above video is the longest clip I know of. Below is a second shorter one.

And then there's also this clip from the Opheliac Era that I found, which I think is the same thing being performed as a lead-in to Liar. It may have a different distortion applied to it than in the Enchant days, but it's hard to tell between my terrible ear for music and this potato-quality video. This is during the Tivoli de Helling set in December 2007.

And another clip. Same thing, same year, different stage.

So to answer your question, this track is live improv - or it was at some point and became rehearsed improv. I assume EA is the composer. I didn't realize it popped up all the way through the mid-to-late-2000s, but here we are.

I don't know of this ever getting recorded officially.
