What are people hating on BTP for anyway? The only problem I could think of is how infrequently she updates, but she was always so hard on herself about it I couldn't hold it against her. But now everyone's talking about the plant rumors 😞

I didn't and don't know her very well, but I was aware that she got random hate in her inbox from time to time. And I only knew that because she posted about it. But we were friendly and spoke from time to time.

I have no idea why people were sending her hate, or what the hate was about.

She is a lot more dedicated than I am, and has an extensive archive of videos, photos, audio, and more related to Emilie. She's met her a couple of times outside of concerts. Emilie even posted her on instagram one time, but I'm not going to say more as to preserve her privacy.

But she's not a plant. That's ridiculous. Even BTP has been critical of Emilie before, and we all know Emilie doesn't handle criticism well. The fact that neither of us has ever gotten an interview with her should say enough.

I missed everything that happened this morning (last night?) and have reached out to her, but haven't heard back. I hope she's well.

Do you know if there's any compiled comparison of differences in the AFWVG book since publication? A lot of people talk about Emilie's experiences being more fictionalized after the first publication, and I've been wanting to know the differences. (I have the newest and the ebook version of the maybe 2011? version [IDK when the ebook was published], but I haven't done a systematic breakdown of edits besides noticing the massive omissions.)

SFLAG had one for the audiobook to one of the hardback editions that’s partially done, and I have one that I’ve started and haven’t posted as well that goes through all four editions, but what I think happened with both of us is that it’s a pretty massive undertaking that is fairly time consuming but one I’d like to get done some day because there are even cuts from the 1st to 2nd editions, but it’s always the audiobook that keeps me from doing the four edition comparison as it requires listening to all of it while keeping track of the other 3 books as well.

But it’s on the to do list, and high on there, it’s just a lot.

Here’s mine. It’s a massive undertaking, more than I had anticipated at the time, which is why it kind of tapered off. Maybe I’ll get back into it one day.

BTP, if you wanna do it, feel free to take what I’ve done so far (with credit) and mark at least a portion of your work as done.

As far as the differences? The first edition to the current edition of TAFWVG have the same underlying plot to share, but so many details have been changed or scrapped that they’re kind of different books. There is a .pdf of the second edition of the hardcover floating around somewhere, though.

"Mistress" has been selling off the charts since it's release two days ago! I can hardly believe that it could happen so quickly, really, I expected a long time of convincing people to accept a new fragrance on the market before getting a single order... We'll be getting this into stores soon which will be nice because we won't be swamped shipping out orders! In any case, YAY!!! This means a *lot* to WTH.
