Hey, first of all thank you so much for your blog, I’ve checked in on it periodically for years, and even though my feelings have changed for EA SO MUCH over the years, she’ll always be one of my favorite artists, and it’s nice to look back on through this blog. I wanted to ask though, I swear there used to be YT vids listed as an EA “Advent Calendar” and I’m not sure if this is also the same thing, but a video with EA (and friends?) riding a carriage in Chicago? I feel like I made this up but I swear it was real? Hope you are well 🖤
Ah! You're talking about two different series.
The Advent Calendar was an online release of short videos of Emilie during Christmas season 2006. You can find them all here. Fun fact: these were filmed during the creation of Laced/Unlaced, which is teased in these videos, and she appears to be living with Brendon Small and his dog named Ernie.
The carriage video you're referencing is "A Day Out With EA," which was included on The End Records release of Opheliac.
