after han geng left (because sm was basically trying to kill him remember), super junior was still on the super show ii circuit. this video was shot at ss2 in shanghai when the boys are singing “到了明天 (blue tomorrow)”. every time zhou mi and henry sing, the “fans” start chanting “HAN GENG HAN GENG HAN GENG” as if that will somehow magically make han geng come back. but only during zhou mi and henry’s parts.

seriously, what the fuck.

first of all, argue all you want about whether or not henry and zhou mi should be “officially recognized as super junior members,” but they were official members of super junior m from the beginning. they were not the ones who caused han geng to leave, sm entertainment was. 

not supporting henry and zhou mi as members of sjm is stupid and pointless. henry is chinese (hong kong/taiwanese) via canada, but zhou mi was born and raised in mainland china, where shanghai is, fun fact. why would you not support one of your own countrymen in their quest to represent your country abroad?

and while we’re talking about this, why should these two amazingly talented boys not be officially recognized members of super junior?

there are no reasons.

both boys are incredibly wonderful individuals.

these boys have never once given up or done anything wrong. they work tirelessly and perform day in and day out, knowing that they won’t get nearly the recognition or love that they deserve. they always have smiles on their faces and try so unbelievably hard to prove themselves. not to mention, they contribute to super junior’s albums and hardly get credited for them besides little notes in the booklets that you’ll never see if you buy them online.

what more do you want from these two boys? from all of the super junior videos i’ve seen, the boys don’t really differentiate between sj and sjm. to them, henry and zhou mi are brothers are part of their family. why shouldn’t they be officially recognized as well?

if you watch this video, you’ll see the boys supporting them. kyuhyun refuses to sing his last line because he’s so angry, and it takes a lot to get kyuhyun angry enough to make that sort of statement.

furthermore, almost everyone even remotely interested in kpop knows of the great and mighty kim heechul. honestly, the person hurt the most by han geng’s departure was heechul, but he never turned his back on zhou mi or henry. in this video, watch as heechul tries his best to use his popularity and influence to win love for zhou mi. on 偶像本色 (idol true colors), the chinese language show hosted by zhou mi and jia and fei from missA, heechul tells a story about his friendship with zhou mi.

when heechul was in the hospital after his car accident, he couldn’t walk by himself or even shower or use the toilet. despite not speaking much korean (and we all know heechul can’t speak chinese), zhou mi helped heechul undress and shower. and shower. because heechul couldn’t do it himself.

these boys have proven themselves over and over. what more do you want from them? when looking at creating a band, 15 is far from the ideal number, i will admit. but this is more than a band: super junior is a family. we didn’t ask for 15 members, but we were blessed with 15 members. 15 brothers.

and honestly, if heechul considers zhou mi as an official member, so should you. (gif)

please support henry and zhou mi. i can’t even begin to express how great they are and hopefully this long rambling mess gives you a hint of their perfection.

this is important. super junior is fifteen and will always be fifteen. do not even begin to believe that you can “kick out” a member of this family. you hurt one, you hurt them all. they are human beings. they don’t belong to anyone, least of all you.

super junior’s kyuhyun shared a screenshot of his kakaotalk conversation with suho, changmin and minho. at the very top you can see changmin telling the others to invite “luhan and minseokie” to the group chat as well. even changmin agrees that luhan and xiumin are a 2-in-1 kind of package deal~
