I went on the train today. I passed by a non asian woman, about 20 years old. She was talking on the phone. And she was talking in korean. I stood beside her. I wanted to be sneaky and “accidentally” played my music out loud (KPOP) for about 3 sec. She did not notice. And then suddenly she lost the connection on the phone, that is when I took this chance, as I said “Excuse me, but did you just speak in korean?” and just like that in one minute as I said “I am a KPOP fan”, we took each others phone numbers and became friends ;-; She is so awesome!!
