I hc that Tim also knows Arabic and Dami didnt know that so he always says nice things to Tim in Arabic (cuz he thinks he cant understand) and one day Tim just responds in Arabic and Dami is SHOOK.
tim drake thought of the day: he is really good at languages. Fluent in Chinese, French, Arabic/Farsi, Spanish, ASL. Proficient in Japanese, Swahili, etc.
But i think he sucks at German specifically. Its his weakness. That one scene in Red Robin where he thought a german guy called him a “clown baby” but he really said “little man” or something? How are you that off, bud? How is it that bad? Hes stuck on German. He doesnt get it.
YJ can ask him to translate anything, even Kryptonian, and he got it. Until its German. Then its suddenly “stupid theyre wasting time translating” and need to “prioritize action rather than thought.”
