1) Completely different anon than the others, but I just wanted to say that I'll be 30 in December & I live with my parents. I live in California, and a one bedroom apartment can cost about $2000 a month. And it isn't like I'm mooching off my parents. I contribute to their expenses and it's mutually beneficial for both of us. I think it's an American thing. My parents immigrated here, and in their home country kids stay with their parents until they marry.

I was responding to what you said about intent to kill which I think is what matters vs actually killing someone. I wasn't trying to be convinced about Tony being less wrong than Steve because he only intended to kill Bucky and being thwarted rather than actually doing it. I liked your Buckynat and Sharon opinions so I thought you were a good person to ask if it was a reasonable stance to think both men were wrong. I won't bother you again.

The fight coordinator for Tony in that scene mentioned that "the trick is to show Iron Man using the 'minimum force' necessary to win the fight, and not to look like he’s trying to go wild and kill somebody." Tony Stark is wearing a metal tank. He doesn't need to be fighting hand to hand. He was angry and hurting, but all his actions were to contain— not kill. Captain "It won't bring them back" and "I can do this all day" has never heard of empathy or deescalation apparently.

Mm. I don't think Tony not being able to kill someone erases his intent to try to do so. But I dislike both men so I don't care much for viewing their actions positively. We can agree that Steve was wrong I suppose.

I care very little for Steve or Tony. While I understood Tony's emotions in CW about his parents, I thought he was wrong to resort to try to kill, mainly because I expect better from a Capital S Superhero. I obviously thought that Steve was wrong in letting it escalate to that situation when he owed Tony the truth as his friend. Is that an unreasonable stance? I see people saying Tony was right or Steve was right meanwhile I was outside with T'Challa thinking they were both wrong.

It's so baffling to me that st*ckies will really (counterfactually) call Buckynat in the comics abusive/ pedophilia when they're out there using panels of Steve feeling guilt and loss over THE LITERAL TEENAGE SIDEKICK Bucky. The kid Steve has referred to as 'like the son he's never had' and say that means Steve's pining for him.
