Besides the Postosuchus the only other 2020 Schleich animal of their prehistoric line that is worth a look is the Baryonyx, the overall anatomy is alright, the leg posture is a bit awkward but I do like the long neck and how wide the jaws open
The artist is a different one from the one who made the 2019 Schleich Spinosaurus, the divergence in style is noticeable, still both look quite nice and they both show how different the skulls of Spinosaurus and Baryonyx are from each other
There are better Baryonyx figures by CollectA and Safari Ltd., the latter to be released by 2021 and of course the rare one by Favorite Co. Ltd. but the Schleich one isn’t a bad figure either, I’d rate it about as good as the ones by Mojö and at least it has better anatomy than the Papo one which mysteriously has the head of a Spinosaurus
The colours seem to be inspired by the Jurassic World Suchomimus that Julius Csotonyi designed
The pink eyes are a nice and unusual touch I like quite a lot
idk why exactly, but I love the Baryonyx from the Lego Jurassic World cartoon.
Something about those colors, that lithe physique, the way it’s animated; it’s just a very aesthetically-pleasing dinosaur.
