Here it is- the finalized Duna drawing!
Backgrounds aren’t my strong suit... like, at all, and the water was the only thing I felt remotely good about until I had to start adding shadows and reflections. I’ll admit I have my doubts about some aspects of this one but nevertheless I’m happy I stuck it out and saw it through to the end. While the background may have frustrated me I’m proud of how Duna herself turned out! It’s probably my most detailed piece of the year and I’m all in all happy with it. It’s really nice to see bigger projects like this come together!
