I got GhostCaptain-Salazar this month for ! 1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt? This was the prompt. It was very straight forward with what they wanted to see, and gave quite a few options to play with, which was nice! 2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks? I decided to go for an undead pirate captain with a subtle orca motif (but hopefully not too subtle?). The main colors are black and white, with a white eye patch (that ended up looking too plain so I gave it some baroque designs), black hat and overcoat with white feathers (meant to look like a water plume) and the inside of the coat, combined with the shape of it at the bottom meant to be reminiscent of an orca's tail. The various shades of blue are water-inspired, and the gold was asked for specifically, which I thought nicely offset all the darker colors. They asked for a missing limb as well as something to signify the source of their power, so I gave him an amulet that creates a ghostly demonic arm that he can control (or maybe it controls him). They asked for pale/dead-looking skin, and I tried to make his black skin look ashy and undead. Lots of scars and holes/tears in his clothing like they asked as well. All in all, I could've probably thrown in more detail (like adding baroque accents on the boots, belt, and shoulder cap (I dunno what to call the leather he wears over his missing arm), but I figured there was more than enough for the recipient to work with as is! He's part of the same headworld that Sir exists in, and serves him as one of his gladiators. The mask was a gift and ensures that while he wears it no serious harm can befall him. The demon is all too happy to fight for pleasure.

This is super late but I had other stuff I needed to work on more and then there was family stuff and then I restarted like three times because my idea kept changing BUT HERE IT FINALLY IS. I volunteered for this design for the Creature Exchange after the September round finished and LynxFelidae never received their half.

This was the prompt and once again I was left with a lot of free reign.

1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?

I think giving a little more direction in the prompt would have been helpful. There were a lot of elements given but no hints as to what was wanted from them.

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?

I tried to make him demonic and inhuman but he came out much more animalistic and faun-like than I intended. Medieval demons were these weird amalgamations of different animal body parts slapped together so I tried to do that a little bit. I'm not great at armor - which is what I first thought of with the "medieval" prompt - so I used medieval nobleman clothing instead. I really tried to blend lynx features into his face, especially with his eyes and glorious mutton chops. I used an Iberian lynx and Wapiti for marking inspiration. And I used the given color palette on his clothing, though no matter what I did I couldn't get green to look good, sorry. And of course he's got bells 'round the base of his antlers. So he jingles joyfully as he gores people on them :D Or maybe they just make a jingly handhold while people "ride" him (hey I don't know what kind of demon he is okay).

They loved him, so yay me :D

Supernatural S09 Finale Spoilers

Um, so, wow. Just. Wow.

Also, to everyone talking about Dean's anti-possession tattoo: He's not fucking possessed. He's not a meatsuit with a demon driver. HE IS A DEMON. The anti-possession tattoo only works when a demon enters a body that is not their own. Hence, y'know, the word ANTI-POSSESSION.

And "oh we know how to cure demons now". You dense motherfuckers. He's not just a run of the mill demon. Just like Cain isn't a run of the mill demon. There isn't going to be any curing going on. Cain is the Father of Evil, and now Dean is turning into a Cain equivalent. Like this shit isn't in any handbook alright? 

I could say more but the fandom's collective stupidity got to me and I had to speak out. ((And everyone cried out in one mighty voice: Who the fuck are you and where did you come from? Cause I've never posted about SPN once I don't think.))

Just. Poor fucking Dean, becoming what he was willing to die to not become. And poor fucking Sam, who said he'd have let Dean die had their positions been reversed, but where Dean made a deal with an angel, Sam went to make a deal with the King of Hell himself.

And Crowley's fucking bromance with Dean... he knew. He fucking knew. That slimy fucking bastard. I love him so much. Agh.

As for Castiel... jesus christ he did so much to save one human being and he didn't save him. Dean's body might be alive, but Dean's a demon now, and that means no soul, no emotions, and it means that everything that makes Dean Dean is gone. Fucking gone.

Still... the writers will "cure" him somehow. They just fucking will. Just like they cured Soulless Sam, and Samifer, and Godstiel, and psychic!Sam, and brought Dean back to life, and just... fffffffffffffffff.

But until then... I'm gonna enjoy all the Destiel fics immensely. 

....actually no, probably not. Because everyone is gonna make Dean just this poor misunderstood baby who doesn't know what he's doing and just fuck everything.
