Finished half of my trade with @cornyeelart! Featuring her fantastic Mafia boss Fabian punching my OC Derrek in the face. Derrek was probably sent to represent his boss, and told to dress up and be nice. Dressing up for Derrek is indeed a tracksuit, and, well, laying on the innuendos really heavily during what is essentially a business meeting is a fast track to pain. He definitely had it coming though.

In December Moonfeather  asked if anyone would be interested in a Shi'Rah exchange like back in the old days. Nostalgia overtook me and I immediately signed up. And lo and behold, I got the creator themselves! This is Tael'Ra, and what a gorgeous character. That hair almost killed me though. Legit.

Kialish Trade by *Battleferrets

My overdue half of a trade with Kialish. The words I was given were "deep sea aquatic, carnivorous, reptilian in appearance, covered in spines, and bioluminescent." 

So I pretty much immediately thought of extinct reptiles, the mosasaurs and plesiosaurs, and of course deep sea aquatic combined with bioluminescent made me think angler fish. Throw in some crocodile, betta fish, and moray eel, and ta-da~

The secondary set of jaws are usually in its throat, they just come out to help pull prey into its mouth, since it doesn't have the suction that most fish do. I also gave it gills, since as a deep sea creature, it wouldn't be going up much for air.

Kialish is welcome to change anything about the design she likes!

Monster Trade with SpartaDog by *Battleferrets

What the title says. Did this really quick (like, in 3 hours) for Sparta. They gave me a list to choose from, and I drew this guy from their keywords.

Here's the list for those curious: 

Black, white, flesh colors, iridescence, bioluminescence, humanoid, bipedal (or at least flexible), round/flat profiles, missing facial features, multiple limbs, tall and slender, long, prehensile tongues, bright colored insides/glows/etc (especially neon green, light blue, and purple), smooth skin (like a human or cetacean), elongated limbs and necks

As you can see, I didn't get everything in, nor did I follow it to a T, but I had fun, and Sparta loves him, and that's all that matters!

Topaz4Girl Trade by *Battleferrets

My half of an art trade with ~Topaz4girl. I didn't forget, I've just been busy! And ohhh, look, more digital stuff. Starting to get the hang of it I think. Anyways, the keywords I was given for this one were "chubby but strong, lives mostly underground, carnivore, poor eyesight, and excellent hearing."

I was going to do something cute, and then this happened. Well, I still think it's cute. I figure this guy burrows deep underground, using it's feelers to "listen" for vibrations which would lead it to it's prey. Upon finding it's prey's tunnels, it would unsheath it's head and stick it down into the hole, spraying a noxious concoction from it's nostrils to confuse and terrify it's prey (not to mention make it blind and nose-deaf) before using it's long, prehensile tongue and jaws to to snap them up.

While above ground it generally keeps it's head hidden, but when threatened it will rear up on it's hind legs, showing off it's high contrast belly and fail it's head around, spraying whatever it is threatening it with the liquid from it's nose.

Inspirations were bears, anteaters, badgers, moles, owls, wombats and starfish.

Of course, ~Topaz4girl is welcome to change anything and everything about this design. It is theirs to have fun with!
