I want to try a mage so let's play Marisol and Ooooooh I can't wait to find our papas!

In my world state she's Max's daughter and she is crazy powerful. She's first taught by Dorian and then her grandmother Donna Trevelyan. She'll spend time in Nevarra to become a death mage where she'll be up to no good coming up with devastating applications of magic.

I guess you need 4 of these to get the secret ending but idk how to get the last 2

Also that's Meredith don't tell me it's not Meredith I need to know what content was cut coz I think one of them was how Meredith became this. She was teased in Absolution what happened to that??

YMCA when aaaaah... when was this done to them? Pre or post mortum?

Also Taash. I liked them. The whole thing about their arc is tragic just coz it's clumbsy. It could have been done better SO easily. I took them out as a companion with everyone and I just really liked them. They come across cute with Davrin, her thing with Harding is...kind of cringe but whatever. I didn't like Harding at any point in this or even in Inquisition.

I LOVE a character sheet I love making them, I love a good armor set.

Max's world state runs paralell to the games unlike Rook who has a completely unique set up. Max had deviations in his backstory like his extended family and his red lyrium arc, but aside from them the events of his life are the same as the games. Some outcomes are different, there's no way the south suffers as much since Max has 2 brothers one in charge of an entire country's army and one with a private armada. Max himself has his own templar order and his mother is a respected tribes woman of the Avaar. House Trevelyan stretches across Thedas, they own hundreds of thousands of horses and some of the best armourers. This one family can put the hurt on any blight. Max's left arm also reformed out of the red lyrium he was poisoned with. The gauntlet he wears over it is enchanted to keep the effects under control.

I can't have this man's life end in any other way than peaceful retirement. He'll take up office to protect Dorian, but nothing further.

Also reading the Inquisitor's letters in VG... There's the game! The Blight spreading like crazy, Darkspawn flooding over Denerim, people pulling back to Skyhold, taking it back from deamons! Avaar and Chasind joining the war, Orleis getting overthrown by Venatori I'm just like... why am I not playing that? Kirkwall evacuated, people sheltering in Starkhaven until the Free Marches come together and SPANK the darkspawn into submission!

Rook Loooooore!

Immie's ancestors left the wider elvish clans after Solas created the veil. Fed up with Gods and tyrants they took themselves into the Silent Plains, thought to be too hostile and dead to explore. There they live a life difficult and isolated, but free of heavy elven tradition. As a result Immie's people believe in nothing. Not Gods nor a Maker, they resist all notion of divinity or superiority. Records of the old elven history have survived in their archives, but they regard the Gods of their elven brethren as little more than fallen warlords. The only thing that could be considered faith in their sands is a belief in life as something that exists without question. Immie may pray, but it's only to life itself.

Although they have no religion of any kind, living in small groups of families, the elves of the Plains have a thriving culture with community at its center. A man in the desert will take many wives under his roof and have a great many children, for the simple reason of the harsh environment taking so many of them in infancy. Even though immortality was stripped from all elves, the clans of the desert have found a way to extend their lives far beyond what's natural with the help of the Silent Plains Rose, a highly poisonous flower that when dosed properly grants a long life for those who survive taking it.

Rook Looooore!

There's no bigger sin in the Desert than the sin of waste. To waste anything is arrogant and deserving of shame. The elves of the Plains waste nothing, not even their dead. When someone dies in the clan their body is taken, cleansed and wrapped. Just before the burial a single bulb of the Silent Plains Rose is placed inside the body of the fallen and buried in the their house's garden. In time flowers will grow out of them, which can be harvested and consumed to extend the lives of the next generation. The longer the life, the more potent the flower growing from the body will be.

Rook Looore!

Because life in the Plains are so harsh the elves living there seek as much pleasure as possible. As a result Immie and his kind have sex for any and all reasons as long as it serves both parties. They do it for the love of a friend, to help one another out, they do it to apologyse as a thanks and to forge bonds. It's expected of a man to only lay with his wives once married but should the need arise, wives may swap their husbands as they please. All this makes their community one of the least frustrated and focuse people in Thedas.

On the flip side difficulty rises in matters of love. It's rare to find anyone in the desert in romantic love as bonding is a more common and shared activity than anywhere else. When it does happen the affairs tend to be explosive often ending in duels to the death or over house and holding. The most commonly found bond in the Plains is friendship and family cooperation.

Immie's romance was Emmrich and Neve before him. He was never a SD but he was adjascent to them when he arrived in Tevinter. Neve mistook his physical interest as it often happens and when he explained that's just not how he worked the two parted ways while staying close friends. It was Emmrich's passion for the dead through the living that grabbed Immie's attention. Emmrich's age was no deterrent as Immie's culture regards long age and experience as one of the most valuable things.

This would have been soooo much better if Dorian brought him in, as he would because no one else has his kind of access to an Inquisitor romanced by him. Morrigan is so annoying in this she just vomits exposition every time she shows up. And also WHY didn't he get armor? I need to know why!

And another thing! Why can't I greet this man the way he deserves? Like someone who saved the world.

Your rook is such a mystery, was romancing Emmrich worth it? I haven't recruited him yet but I'm very curious!

My Rook has a different backstory than what the game gave him. In my head I has playing the guy I made up not the one the game wanted me to play. Although he still romances Emmrich their canon relationship is different than what you experience in the game.

Emmrich's romance is ok. It's very cute, he's a very cute character. I really liked his design and voice AND his animation. There's been a lot of things said about what's bad about VG but nothing about the character animation which is better than Inquisition. It's detailed and subtle. Yeah the lipsync is off sometimes, but I'll never forget Dorian's 200% facial animation moment in Inquisition. If you want a quiet romantic experience Emmrich is worth it for sure. I loved him, just wish he got naked.

If you don't mind me asking, what graphics settings are you using? I'll have to make sure mine are high enough to see Dorian in all his glory haha

ok I just checked it I had everything on medium and his streak and stash did not show up. so I guess have them on high. Guess I'll have to replay the whole game haha woops XD
