Gay men took the side of trans-identified males when they started to invade women's safe spaces, stealing their sports and scholarships, undermining sex-based rights that women only very recently in history had managed to secure.

They told lesbians they're bigots if they don't agree that a man is a lesbian if he says that he is and if they're not willing to have sex with him.

They have re-written history to take away from lesbians the credit for Stone Wall and give it to trans women instead, just as they wrote out of history all the heterosexual women allies who supported them through the AIDS crisis and many other crisis besides.

They have never cared about female specific ongoing tragedies such as Indian women dying in menstrual huts in India, or African women dying of female genital mutilations in Africa - after all, these are issues that do not affect them personally so they're not important.

And even though AIDS has since the 1980s become one of the leading causes of death for women worldwide they have never showed up for that crisis, even though women were the ones who campaigned for them and their rights when they needed it.

In their eyes women when women show up for them they are doing nothing more than their duty, as women exist to serve men not the other way around so why should they feel any sense of gratitude or loyalty in return?

Why would they care now that women have lost their right to abortion and next will lose the rest of their reproductive rights? When have they ever come to our rescue? They would sooner show up to sing "We saw your boobs" alongside the misogynist men who rape women, like they have done so many times before. Stay classy, guys.

John Stoltenberg - A Feminist Guide to Gay Male Misogyny

What is gay male misogyny? What distinguishes it as gay and male? Why do gay men do it? What does it do to others when we do it? What does it do to ourselves when we do it? And what can we do about it?

A talk by John Stoltenberg April 19, 2013, at Wake Forest University for a symposium titled "Rewriting Homosexuality."

A couple of months ago the Oscars, the 2013 Oscars, opened with a song that Seth MacFarlane sang.

A show of hands, does this ring a bell, did anybody here in the room see this? Maybe about half of you.

Well, let me recap it for those who didn't see it: Seth MacFarlane begins singing a song and the song is "We saw your boobs", and it's a recital of different female actors names and films they appeared in; and the chorus is "in the movie that we saw we saw your boobs". He sings this song and then the curtains open: it's the Los Angeles Gay Men's Chorus. They join in on the last verse.

What wasn't apparent at the time was that at least four of the women actors who were named in that song lyric, their breasts appeared on screen because their characters had been raped.

Jodie Foster in "The Accused", her breasts were visible on screen during a flashback her character is having about the rape. And her assailants are violently ripping her breasts out of her shirt. (sing songs) "In the movie that we saw we saw your boobs".

Hilary Swank in "Boys Don't Cry", she's playing a trans man, Brandon Teena, we see Hilary Swank's breasts during a medical examination after Teena's character has been brutally raped on the trunk of a car. Her breasts are swollen and dark with bruises and Hillary Swank as the character flinches. (sing songs) "In the movie that we saw we saw your boobs".

Similarly Halle Berry in "Monsters Ball", her name was referenced in this song lyric; Charlize Theron, in "Monster". And I'm setting the scene in this way for my topic today, which is gay male misogyny.

(...)

There's actually a conversation about gay male misogyny going on online. It's fairly extensive (…) It's very disturbing, but in a culture that doesn't see gay men who are perceived as queer as men having male privilege our misogyny and sexist acts are instead read as diva worship or celebrating women, even when in reality they are objectification, assault and dehumanization.

The takedown of these alpha males who can’t find a woman ‘worthy’ of being their wife is a simply magnificent watch

Early days we know but leading contender for takedown of the week is surely this, a guy – well, two guys – keen on explaining just why they can’t find a woman worthy of being their wife.

The clip, featuring H3 podcast host Ethan Klein talking to manosphere podcasters Myron Gaines and Walter Weekes – what do you mean you’re not a subscriber? – just went viral on Reddit and it’s a minute and a bit very well spent.

Transcript

Ethan Klein: If there's men that watch this show, if they've learned anything, it's probably how to respect and how to have a long term healthy relationship with a woman that you can call your wife and have a family with.

Myron Gaines: How do you get a wife, Ethan? Because my thing is like, you're talking about the finish line. What about the race? Yeah, you stand like you have to either be married or you can even identify a female that's worthy of marriage, of having a family with, etcetera. And unfortunately in today's day and age, it's not that simple anymore. We live in a very complex world where it's difficult to identify women that are marriage material. And most aren't. Simply that's just what it is.

Ethan Klein: So you guys are alright? If you guys method is so good, why aren't you married?

Myron Gaines: Again, because men are the ones that decide if they wanna get married.

Walter Weekes: Choice.

Ethan Klein: So. So you choose not to be married?

Myron Gaines: Yes, because men are the ones, we're the gatekeepers to marriage, to commitment. Women are the gatekeepers of sex.

Ethan Klein: Right. And um, you're 34, right, Myron?

Myron Gaines: Yes.

Ethan Klein: And um, do you plan on getting married someday? Do you think it's important?

Myron Gaines: Eventually. The nuclear family is the back bone to any thriving society.

Ethan Klein: Oh, thank you for saying that about me.

Myron Gaines: Good job. But a lot of guys don't have that ability to find a woman that's worthy.

Ethan Klein: You don't have that ability.

Myron Gaines: I don't have that ability?!

Ethan Klein: You're not married!

Walter Weekes: (scoffs)

Myron Gaines: That's by choice.

Walter Weekes: (is now laughing)

Ethan Klein: But the ability to find a woman you clearly don't have that ability. So you use the sugar daddy websites as dating sites?

Myron Gaines: Yes. So we did a whole episode…

Ethan Klein: And then you complain about women being shallow.

Myron Gaines: I never complain about women being shallow.

Ethan Klein: You say it's hard to find a good woman because they're motivated by material things and stuff, and yet you're seeking women specifically, a certain type of woman obviously would be on a sugar daddy website. So it seems like you are confirming your biases by even going there to find women.

Walter Weekes: What?

Ethan Klein: Sorry, Walter. You want me to say it again slower?

The kind of men who voted for Trump, yall.

Purity culture is not important to Mormons. Whether you're straight or gay you can be as promiscuous as you like. It's only when it comes to marriage that they only allow straight couples (who apparently don't need to be virgins at the time of their union).

So the whole thing about how purity is so fundamental to their cult is hogwash.

Curious.

"Part of it (of the decision to leave the church) was the decision that the church made to make gay marriage this thing where if you enter into a gay marriage now you are eligible to be excommunicated from the church for apostasy.

And that decision was just so wrong in so many ways because… they did that, that was part 1; part 2 of that was your kids, any kids you have living at home with you or as their primary residence, could not be baptized into the church, or blessed as a baby, or partake in any of those things, which is basically shunning those kids.

And so that decision in 2015 really was an eye-opener for me, I think it was one of the last straws. I just went, there's no way that's right because just thinking of that policy (they didn't call it a doctrine, they called it a policy, actually president Nelson called it a doctrine in a talk) they made it so that if you get gay married that's the problem. You can be promiscuous, you can go have sex with lots of other people, you can be gay and be promiscuous, you can be straight and be promiscuous (and not get excommunicated). But the moment you get gay married that's where you're up for apostasy and that's when you can get excommunicated."

You will also notice that, as is so often the case, this moid was put off by the church's constant barrage of misogyny... but not so put off by it that it made him reconsider his loyalty to the Mormons. But the minute that they did something anti-gay, now that's beyond the pale! Because even though he's straight and therefore not directly affected by homophobia, some gay people are male whereas misogyny only affects women so fuck them, even if they are your own wife or mother.

Thanks for nothing, guys.

I can't believe I allowed myself to believe that a man could be an ally.

So for the record here he is making fun of the very idea that rape jokes could ever be a problem. All that energy put into a video, hiring actors, directing them, editing etc etc... so he can make fun of women not wanting their tragedy to be treated by men like it's a joke. He's a rapist.

No man is an ally.

0.5 million men vs 10 million for women. even if filler or plastic surgery is on the rise for men it will not compare in magnitudes to what women have to go through

instead of doing away with the insanity altogether, let men descend into this madness too so the makeup and beauty industry can make more profit. i hope actually women stop wearing makeup or doing any procedures, and then the companies will have no choice but to target men and we should men go through this hell because we'll never learn as a society.

"For men, a drop makes a splash." -- even in beauty procedures they are concerned for men's comfort more so than women. Let's do as little as possible we can get away with for men... no actually let them suffer the way women go under the knife.

In England at least anyone can take a course in one afternoon that gives them the legal right to perform invasive procedures that, if done incorrectly, could kill or irreparably damage their clients. So now ignorant beauticians who can't even do your nails right can kill you with injections or liposuctions done wrong.

I never thought I'd live to see the day when a woman would say out loud that she voted for Trump (who wants to take away her rights) because she believes she'll be protected by her Democrat governor (that she didn't vote for) from the consequences of her actions.

"The Democrats will protect me from my worst enemy whom I empowered with my vote". "I am going to feed the tiger that wants to kill me but not the warrior that wants to protect me from the tiger, that makes sense to me."

And she voted Trump for president without knowing that in her state women had already lost their reproductive rights because her Democratic governor had already been overridden by the Republicans. Republicans that wouldn't have the power to do so if she hadn't voted for them.

I guess too much fluoride in the water really does kill braincells.

my little baby kitten (12 years old) is in this video! She’s one of the black and white cats that jumps out of the bucket towards the end. Her name is Precious but we call her Chicken and she is living such a spoiled rotten retired life with her two annoying younger brothers and mamas.

Also above is my wifeeeeee and even though this show isn’t running anymore at Busch Gardens, it’s basically the reason my wife and I started dating so it means so much to me.

Logey passed unfortunately but he had the best life with us.
