Hi, I'm SeventhWall I make bad art in my freetime. My pronouns are she/her and I live in Poland. I love reading books especially fantasy and playing video games. I mainly do fanart, but from time to time I create some original content for the world I built in my head. My favourite writers are J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, Ursula Le Guin and Agatha Christie among the others. My favourite video games are Baldur's Gate trilogy, Planescape: Torment, KOTOR II and LOK: Soul Reaver II. Besides reading and gaming I like walking and listening to music. If you like my work and wish to support me you may do that on my ko-fi. You can also visit my DeviantArt to see all of my published works.
"Knight of Thorns - Alternative (Finished)
Alternative depiction of my OC Knight of Thorns, this time without the helmet. For the background I wanted something relatively simple yet elegant. Since I still have problem with drawing trees/woods I went for some branches and stained glass look (sort of). As for the character's backstory once she was a knight in service of ruling dynasty, but she got wounded in battle and bled to death among the roses. The place where she died was a site of old power, which resurected her. Now she rides the woods with roses growing out of her wounds.
Sketch Pracice 2
I drew a cup as a practice. I think it's good to try draw different stuff from time to time.
drawing a study every single day

Yaaaaaay first art post in 2025
..and it's book accurate Duncan Idaho concepts. Again. I think about 2 people are going to be interested in this man
Since today is WIP Wednesday I'm posting my current WIP. It's a nearly finished art of my OC Knight of Thorns, but without the helmet. I only have to add some simple background, few corrections and some other things like thorns etc.
Practice sketch 1
This is the only thing I got right now. It's a practice sketch of female face. I'm trying to follow the advice from book: Drawing the Head and Figure by Jack Hamm (thanks to vintacha for sharing some amazing resources for artists). I was striving for proportions, but some things may still look wrong. I'm going to do more sketches like that to get better at drawing faces. To make sure that eyes are on the same level I used ruler, because otherwise they would be crooked.
Drew this candle a while ago just to warm up.
Lammas blessings by the way. And happy harvest!
Some years ago some of my fellow online Wiccan buddies have come with an idea of making a candle chain for every sabbat, not just Imbolc. Each of us was keeping the flame for 24 hours (more or less, depended on our schedule and time zones), then passed it to another via phone call or message. I loved taking part in it. Especially when making phone calls! (I didn't have a smartphone yet when we've just started so messaging was harder than phoning).
Sadly that web coven is no more.
But therefore it's totally OK to post candle drawings for each Sabbat (until at last I come up with something new)

Another version might be coming, but I'm posting this one anyway.

"Mr Teatime"
So, I'm late to the party and Hogswatch is over, but still here's my fanart of Mr Teatime.
"Teatime’s face was young and open and friendly. Or, at least, it smiled all the time. But the effect was spoiled for most people by the fact that it had only one eye. Some unexplained accident had taken the other one, and the missing orb had been replaced by a ball of glass. The result was disconcerting. But what bothered Lord Downey far more was the man’s other eye, the one that might loosely be called normal. He’d never seen such a small and sharp pupil. Teatime looked at the world through a pinhole."
Terry Pratchett, Hogfather
There may be some disproportions, but I decided to roll with it, because he should look a bit uncanny (still I'm going to educate myself more with some books and other free resources to make better art). Besides that my scanner hates me and I had to edit scan in gimp. My goal here was to make him look disturbing with a fake smile, that doesn't reach his eyes. I used couple of photos for the reference (photo of Norman Bates from Psycho for shading and expression, picture of Astarion from Baldur's Gate III for hand grip and photo of movie's Mr Teatime for outfit).
"The Others Made No Sound"
My fanart illustration to AGOT Prologue. It could've been better, but I would like to make another piece of art before the end of the year and I plan to revisit this scene later. Originally I wanted to do Waymar's reflection in Other's armor, but I couldn't find good photo for reference. Made with acrylics, ballpoint pen and crayons on paper. You can check my ko-fi to see previous versions if you want.
Sorry for double posting but APPARENTLY those commission scammers have showed up on Tumblr at least for the first time for me.
For those who don’t know what I am talking about, there were/are commission scams going on in Instagram and even places like Artstation where people would pretend to be interested in your work and try to commission a pet or portrait for the sake of trying to get your bank details. Here’s how to (somewhat) sniff them out:
1- They don’t seem to be an average customer/ person that would be involved in your fandom, or has a blank template for an account or don’t even follow you.
2- They ask you to draw a portrait or a pet picture either for themselves or their children/family.
3- They promise to overpay you (in the hundreds) and do not listen to you even if you firmly state the price is cheaper.
4- They are constantly asking for your email name, or private details regarding things like banking details or passwords or other private information others should not know.
5- They try and over reassure you they mean no harm, try to guilt you into giving them the info, or become aggressive over you not giving them what they want.
What should you do if you come across one of these guys? My best advice is to block and report. Sadly these people jump account to account so there isn’t really much to do other than spread this info to prevent artists from being scammed.
