“Is your shoulder feeling okay?”
Seungcheol turned to you, who was looking forward, at the busy roads filled with cars, your hand gripping the steering wheel. He stared at you for a bit before shaking his shoulders.
“It's really okay,” Seungcheol replied, turning away to face the road. The red light for stop was the only thing he kept his eyes on. “I told you, it's just a bit of overuse.”
You shook your head as the traffic light turned green, stepping on the gas. Seungcheol had to hold onto the roof handle.
“God, what's making you so upset today, Coach?” Seungcheol asked, sounding more like a desperate plea. “I told you, it's not that big of a deal.”
“Sure, the overuse of a shoulder is only slightly painful,” You replied, glancing at him before turning back to the road. You turned the corner, heading for your apartment. “But I'm your coach! You should have at least told me that your shoulder wasn't feeling well and that you needed to stop using it for a few days! How can you not even tell me that, huh?”
“Fine, I'm sorry. I just didn't think it'd be that big of a deal.”
“It could have become a worse deal if you kept it hidden. Thank god you didn't hide it very well!” You slammed on the car horn and the car let out a loud honk at the car in front that was trying to switch lanes.
Seungcheol shut his eyes for a minute, waiting for you to scold him more. He knew that if you found out about the overuse of his shoulder, you'd act like that. He didn't want you to worry but found that you being angry was kind of cute.
When he opened his eyes, the car had come to a stop and in his view was a familiar street. A way too familiar street.
