synopsis: You never really celebrated your birthday with anyone or in general. It's your birthday, February 11th, and you stumble upon a man busking. He asks if it's anyone's birthday and hesitantly, you raise your hand.

Many people were walking past you but you were all alone. It was your birthday too, but it seemed like your birthday was going to come to an end without a celebration; which was nothing new because you never really celebrated your birthday, nor did anyone celebrate your birthday for you.

Birthdays were always a somewhat sad day for you. You had friendly coworkers but they never remembered your birthday. It had come to a point where you stopped bothering to ask them to celebrate with you.

It was such a sad day but you didn't have the energy to cry to it. It was just a birthday, was it that significant? You kept wondering as you walked aimlessly down the crowded streets.

‘I guess my birth isn't significant...’

As you were walking, you heard one of your favorite songs playing. It was a funky beat and lively, and when you turned over to look, you saw a man busking. He was dancing to the song.

You followed your boyfriend to the basement. He was going to look for some boxes to help him carry some things to your home since he wants to be able to visit you regularly and comfortably like your house is his own. You told him that you could just buy some cardboard boxes but Chan insisted on looking through the basement.

“Are you sure you'll find any in here?” You asked, entering the basement that Chan had already arrived in before.

“Of course! My members told me that there are some in here. It's better to reuse.” Chan replied, looking through the basement.

It was filled with many different things, including chairs, tables, and lamps, many things were inside of boxes as well. The basement wasn't that clean but had a clear passageway to walk through. Chan made his way through, looking for some empty cardboard boxes.

You, on the other hand, hopped onto the top of a firm box and began to swing your feet back and forth, the back of your heels hitting the box.

“Are you not going to help me look for a box?” Chan asked, scavenging through every nook and cranny of the basement.

You gazed at your boyfriend with hearts shooting out of your eyes. You replied sweetly, “Well, I'm busy admiring how cute you look today~”

Chan laughed, finding an empty folded-up box in the corner.

“Did you find one?” You asked, catching a glimpse of what seemed like a brown cardboard box that was flooded up to make it flat.

Chan approached where you were sitting. His head was now right in front of yours, there wasn't a height difference at all anymore. Chan dropped the box and wrapped his arms around your waist.

“What's this?” You asked, teasing him a little bit.

“You said I looked cute, so I'm just trying to be cute,” Chan replied with a cute smile on his face.

You laughed and ruffled your boyfriend's soft hair. You wanted to tell him that he was cute every day but decided against it since the truth was that he was a mix of cute and sexy.

“Actually, you're not that cute.” You said, rushing your finger on Chan's ear. He pouted and his hands less tightened around your waist upon hearing you say that. “Today, you're sexy and cool~”

Chan laughed. He was relieved because he really thought that you didn't like him anymore. You two met eyes and his soft smile made you warm all inside.

You gave him a quick peck on his lips, soft and sweet. His lips were like a soft fragrance that held a sweet taste.

You gave him another peck, putting your hands around his shoulders. What you thought was going to stay a peck ended up getting a bit spicy. He pulled you in, his arms on your hips. Chan slid you closer to him until your breaths mixed.

He helped you hop off of the box but you ended up hanging on to him like a koala. Your lips were still attached to his, continuing to kiss him nonstop. Chan didn't mind it so he held you up, his hands on your thigh. It was like your kisses were bits of energy, giving him just enough strength to continue holding you.

The back of his neck was warm, just like his breath and lips. You removed yourself from Chan's body, landing your feet on the ground to prevent Chan from suffering by holding up your weight and kissing you at the same time.

The moment you got off, Chan pressed his chest against yours, kissing you harder than before. His hands and the way he sucked your lips made your knees feel weak.

“Excuse me,” a voice suddenly said. The person pushed past the two of you and went further into the basement. Chan didn't realize until you tapped him back into reality.

“That was one of your members!” You whispered to him.

“What was?” Chan asked, out of breath.

You bit your lip and only seconds later, Jihoon returned back to you two with a box of studio equipment in his hands.

Chan basically gasped upon seeing his fellow member and brother, Woozi, pop out of nowhere. “Hyung! When did you come down here?”

Jihoon just looked up at the maknae. “When you were busy.”

You blushed and so did Chan.

“You guys can continue,” Jihoon made a hand gesture with his hands that was telling you two that you two could continue. He took a few steps until he was at the entrance of the basement door.

Chan quietly entered the house and took off his shoes. "Sorry, am I late?" He said with a happy expression. You just simply looked away.

"Did we have something planned?" You asked coldly.

Chan was obviously flustered.

"Huh?" He sat down beside you but you just quietly moved a bit further from him. He stared down at the little distance between you two that felt like a mile.

"Chan..." You stared down at your hands that were fidgeting with each other. "If you need to stay at work, just stay at work then come home. Don't be going in and out... it puts my hopes up only for it to be dropped again."

He was gazing at you, you could feel his eyes.

"Sorry.."

"I know it's because you might miss me but.."

Chan took your face in his hands and gave you a soft kiss. "I won't do it again. The most I'll do is call you. Don't be upset, okay?"

You were now looking at him. "Chan! I'm trying to be serious!"

He smiled. "And I'm trying to fix the problem."

Chan took off his jacket and threw it on the floor. He took your hands and pinned them on the couch. He started off not from your lips but your neck. His lips against your neck felt ticklish and made you giggle.

"Hey Chan!" You started wriggling around but he held your hand in place with one hand and the other hand was squishing your cheeks so you looked like a fish.

"Ssk! Stay still!" Chan said, smiling too.

At last, the giggled stopped and you willingly stayed still. Chan then slowly looked down at your lips and pressed his against them.

You wanted to run your hands around his back freely but Chan continued to hold your hands above your head. When he let go of your soft lips to get a breath, you quietly mumbled, "let go of my hands you dummy."

He began laughing. "Okay~"

The moment he let go of your hands, you pushed him back and then laid on top of him, showering him with deep and passionate kisses that he didn't refuse.
