[01:00] This is when Joshua finally decided to go to bed. You were already asleep beside him but he was on his phone. He caresses your hair before closing his eyes, not aware that it was already Christmas dawn.
[07:04] You wake up but let Joshua sleep a little more. You decide to cook breakfast for him when he wakes up.
[09:10] Joshua wakes up to a delicious smell. It was the exact time that you place the food on the table neatly. You wanted to surprise him but found him already at the doorway to the kitchen with tired eyes and his hands in his sweatpant pockets. You greet him with a kiss on the cheek and tell him that food is ready.
[09:53] Christmas presents under the tree are now ready to be opened. Before opening your gifts for each other, you both thank each other first. For Christmas, he gets you a clay figurine and bead bracelet that he made himself, along with some of your favorite self-care items. You gave him a jacket he wanted and a new wallet.
Joshua/Hong Jisoo: Last-minute Moonlight Picnic
The dim light source made the atmosphere romantic and Joshua's heavenly voice under the luminescent moon only made your heart flutter more. You loved how dreamy this night with Joshua was.
There were only a few hours until the last day of summer was going to pass. You and Joshua had planned this little picnic in your backyard for basically the whole day. In fact, you two had been so busy preparing foods and drinks that evening dawned upon you two before you guys even knew it.
Well, the plan was doomed from the beginning because you two couldn't stop consuming the delicious foods you two made and bought before the picnic even took place. In the end, you two decided to place your plaid red picnic rug outside, on the green grass of your adequate sized backyard, under the moonlight.
Already full from eating dinner in the afternoon, the two of you sat side by side, under the night sky, with no food-filled picnic basket.
After lighting the last of the three lamps, you crawled to sit behind Joshua, who had his legs crossed and his acoustic guitar in front of him. With a tired sigh, you leaned your back against his.

He could only briefly remember how the engraved black ink looked like on your delicate fingers and the back of your hand. It had only now occurred to him while you two were preparing dinner how much he hadn't seen it lately. Sometimes you were wearing an oversized shirt that covered your hand, like today, or you had them hidden away in your pockets.
Joshua paused what he was doing and stared at you as you took out ingredients from the fridge, cupping each item with your sweater paws. Yes, you looked so adorable that he was gazing at you with a subconscious smile and hearts shooting out of his eyes, but he wanted to see your hand tattoos again.
He had one of his hands pressed flatly against the surface of the counter where his body was lightly leaning against. You didn't notice your boyfriend's heart eyes as you were too busy moving and focusing on which ingredients to take out.
You took out some fish cakes and placed them on the clean wooden counter. The moment that red and white fish cake pack left your hands, Joshua walked in front of you, blocking your path back to the fridge, and unintentionally pinned you against the counter. With his eyes staring down, Joshua picked up your hands and rolled up each of your sleeves slowly, revealing the small writings and drawings imprinted on your hand.
I had this idea of playing with a members hair because I have a habit of petting soft things such as blankets but I’m not one to be affectionate???? Idk if that’s the word I’m looking for... or like I’m not someone who likes affection that much. But it’s weird cuz sometimes I’ll be clingy for no reason :|

Also, I can somewhat relate to you about affection lol. I'm actually not that big a fan of initiating affection but sometimes I can be clingy and stay around my family members a lot lol. Most of the members had left for the holiday, spending time with their parents already back in their sweet homes. Joshua's flight to the US was delayed due to the winter storm. Jun and Minghao were lucky since their flights to China were before the blizzard started burning.
Since the dorm was now empty, he invited you over to have some snacks and watch a movie. Since it was a holiday, he didn't want to spend his time alone, in an empty house. Joshua didn't mind that he had to meet his parents a few days later than the rest of the members; he was glad that he could spend some sweet time with you.
Despite the heater on, the cold, icy breeze from the winter storm stirring outside was sending you shivers. You had your legs brought to your chest, huddling them together closely to try and bring warmth to yourself. Even though all of the members were gone, it was disrespectful to touch something that didn't belong to you.
Your teeth began to chatter. You glanced at the living room window and saw the night sky being filled with white flakes, falling from the dark sky. It looked so beautiful but it was so cold.
‘I wonder if Joshua is okay...’ You wondered, turning back to the TV that was playing one of Joshua's interviews during the ‘YOUR CHOICE’ promotions.
Your boyfriend had stepped out to buy some snacks at the convenience store since “the members stole them for their trip”, he said. You glanced over at the hallway leading to the door, feeling the chills creep down your arms, giving you goosebumps.

You didn't even look up to see if he was coming, you were just staring blankly at the ground.
Your mind was repeating apologies. You didn't want to break up with Shua because you loved him dearly, but for his sake, maybe it was for the better. He shouldn't have to suffer because he's in love and you were always sure that even when a threat like that came by, you would push through it bravely; but when the threat finally came, you thought about it thoroughly.

The miscarriage left both of you speechless.
Both of you were sitting on the couch, side by side, your hands clasped with each other. You two were spacing out, unknowing of what to do after losing your child.
Quietly, you broke the silence.
“Maybe this is the heavens' way of telling me that I'm not ready to become a mother.”
You looked down at Jihoon's hand that you were holding so tightly.
Just as you were about to cry, Jihoon suddenly buried his head in your shoulder, hugging you tightly. You could feel his warm, sad tears wet your shirt.
Both of your hearts dropped.
Never in your life did you expect to have a miscarriage.
Your mind immediately went blank. You didn't know what to do or say at all. You just stood blankly in the OB-GYN. As if mocking your miscarriage, in front of you appeared a healthy young child, getting ready for a check-up.
The tears began to build in your eyes.
Jeonghan was shocked and sad but he didn't want to show it.
Jeonghan then stepped in front of you to block your vision and hugged you tightly, caressing your hair.
“It's okay. I'll be okay.”
Joshua had suggested that you two get some fresh air outside of the hospital. Accepting the miscarriage was hard.
Sitting on a bench, staring at the ground, you felt a warm hand take yours. You finally looked up and found Joshua staring down at your hands, holding them tightly, caressing your fingers.
Joshua tried to smile it away but you could read his expression. He was just as heartbroken as you were.
Joshua held your hand a little tighter and said, “Don't worry about anything. Our baby was... it was an angel that decided not to descend. It'll be okay.”
It was quiet for a bit. Both of you were still processing the words the doctor said regarding the child in your stomach had now disappeared.
You didn't want to accept that you had a miscarriage.
Seokmin studied your expression closely then walked in front of you. In the empty hallway, he hugged you warmly, caressing the back of your head.
“Let's just mourn together, it already hurts a lot,” Seokmin said, his tone gentle. “I'm sure our child is now in baby heaven. It's all okay, darling.”
You wrapped your arms around him tightly and together, you both cried.
The news of the miscarriage left both you and Seungkwan in tears.
You two were facing each other, hugging and crying, collapsed on the floor.
“I'm sorry, Seungkwan... our baby...” You managed to say that much amid your tears.
Seungkwan shook his head, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear and wiping your tears.
“Don't be sorry, please...” He said, though his words were a bit mixed with his tears. “We did our best, so don't be sorry, okay?”
Other people may have been watching you two cry together but they probably didn't know the pain behind it.

“Blue? I love blue too!” The idol said, laughing.
Jihoon was beginning to grow more and more jealous, just watching the two of you talk and him, the other idol, continuing to flirt with you one-sidedly.
You quickly waved goodbye to the idol and went over to your boyfriend who was waiting outside, listening to music, his ears plugged.
“Jihoon?” You called out.
You knew that he was jealous and calming himself down.

Jeonghan was just watching from afar. He had a weird smirk on his face like he was plotting something.

Just then, the idol asked if he could talk to you privately.

At last, Joshua sighed with a smile when he saw the idol's confused face.

Seokmin was waiting patiently for that guy to finish. The two of you had planned to get dinner but the idol was busy trying to flirt.
Seokmin listened and even laughed at some of the idol's jokes. He was smiley and seemed like he didn't mind until he just abruptly changed his expression turning intimidating and serious.
“Okay, are you finished? We have to get going, you see.”
The idol was intimidated and surprised.
However, as he put his arms around you, walking away, he chuckled back at the idol, his laughter innocent.
“See you around!” Seokmin said, waving.
Seungkwan was observing from afar. He would laugh at how ridiculous the idol that was flirting with you sounded.
The idol started to get annoyed with Seungkwan and eventually walked over.
“Excuse me, but why are you laughing?” The idol asked.

a/n: I have a book I created when I was younger and it really sucks. I even revised it (before I started making imagines) and it still sucks. That's why I took a few days to create Epilogues explaining in further detail what happened (because there was a massive time skip).
