hey, i saw the preview for your shortbox comic and was wondering if you ever figured out how to start getting past that? Its a problem ive had for years and it feels like the only solution is to quit doing art for my income but i also love my work despite all the bad things and part of me doesn't want to quit. Ive never seen someone describe so exactly what i was struggling with before, i would love some advice if your ok with sharing.

As with most things, there's no universal solution. You'll have to do whatever is going to bring you the closest to your idea of happiness, be it working a "normal" job and doing art on the side, or finding a way to push yourself and lose your insecurities. Every decision is going to have its struggles, that's just something you can't escape. No matter what you choose to do, if you do it bravely and without doubts, it'll work out.

I silently deleted it. A lot of things happened irl and I don't feel comfortable continuing that specific story. I do still love the characters though, and am planning a reboot. It's taking longer than I'd like though, as a lot of jobs popped up in the last months and I couldn't turn them down.
