I'm sure JJ presented her with flowers and a lovely piano serenade, and Lydia got him a nice new vest and tie. Beyond that, there was probably a lot of snuggling and hand-feeding of raspberry ice cream and strawberry cheesecake while binge watching Ghibli movies XD They're over-the-top cliché romantic dorks, but it makes them happy.

“Jameson, I’m sorry. If I scared you, if you don’t want to tell me about it, I won’t ask. I was just…surprised and worried,” Lydia sighed, watching him wash his hands and wrists in anxious frustration. “I didn’t know.”
“You needn’t apologize; you’re hardly to blame. I was simply—” Too careless, too comfortable. When he was modeling the new shirt she’d gifted him, she had reached to help him button the cuffs. He was too busy blushing to her praises to think of what she would notice about his wrists—the stripes he’d earned in servitude to the devil, his proof of weak will.

He scrubbed deeper. The water was painfully hot, swelling his skin to a raw, aching crimson, but if that was what it took to drown out the mad laughter in his ears…

Whumptober #17: “Please Don’t Move!”
Lydia awoke to the sensation of frantic fingers at her throat, feeling for a pulse, and what must have been a jackhammer trying to shatter her skull. When she struggled to pry her eyes open, everything seemed too huge and close, overwhelming.
It probably would have been more comfortable to make a tactical retreat back into darkness. This nightmarish headache wouldn’t follow her there. When they noticed her stirring, however, the hand against her pulse point abruptly shifted to cup her cheek. That touch was familiar, as was the terrified, pale blue gaze hovering over her, finally shifting into focus.
“Jam’son?” she croaked, flinching at the brightness of the speech slide that burst to life overhead. The letters were a jumble to her dazed eyes, only half decipherable.
“…hank heavens! I saw…tumble…the ladder! I-I feared—Oh, no, no, please don’t move! Stay still for me, angel. Wait until help arrives.”

Things happened off screen (meaning at the time I was too sick to write everything that needed to happen to reach this point so I did a time skip instead ^^")
She knows some things, not all. Jackie's identity, Anti, time travel, yes. She had started to suspect JJ was the Earl so Jackie's identity wasn't as much of a surprise. Anti, and everything that came with him, was sprung on her rather badly. If superheroes can exist, so can supervillains. If Marvin's weird wormhole dimension magic can exist, it's only reasonable to assume time travel can.
She did separate from JJ for some time just to be on her own and absorb all these revelations. She had to reevaluate whether or not a relationship with JJ was what she wanted, now knowing the risks behind it. Eventually she decided she was willing to take the chance.
But Jack? The channel? No. She doesn't know that JJ and the others are Egos created by a man from another dimension, and she never will. She wouldn't survive it.

Omg I didn’t realize JJ and Lydia got married, that’s so sweet!!!! What would their wedding have been like? 😊
They probably had it outside on a nice, crisp morning, maybe in a gazebo or a park where there was lots of flowers. No doubt Jackie had some of his allies on the police force keeping an eye on the proceedings so they could be ready if Anti decided to crash the party, but it was subtle. Marvin’s protection spells made everything a little more magical ^^ Many tears were shed. It was bittersweet that Jack wasn’t there to see, but they’re hoping that somehow he might have sensed it in his dreams and it could bring him some comfort.

“Well, hello, Mr. Jackson! Good to see you again!” the barista greeted with a cheery smile. “I expect you’ll take your usual?”
“Yes! Yes, please, Lydia, thank you! That would be delightful!” he confirmed with hurried signs, hoping the heat that was rising in his cheeks didn’t show.

😈 So Anti’s been keeping an eye on the Septics and has noticed that Lydia and JJ are dating. Always down for murder, Anti disguises himself as JJ and uses sign to ask her out. He tries to act loving and doting, but Lydia notices that something seems off although she initially thinks he’s just being awkward. Eventually she realizes that this person isn’t her boyfriend and tries to subtly get away. 1/2
😈 However, Anti doesn’t let her escape and is about to teleport them away when Jackieboy and Earl come to the rescue. Jackie had noticed the two walking together when he remember that JJ was going ask her out later that evening to a live performance. The hero trailed the couple and got help. Jackie and Anti fight while Earl tries to get Lydia to safety. Anti ends up injuring the couple but nothing too serious. Feel free to add on.
Well, it may be the thing where Lydia doesn’t recognize the Earl is Jameson and he can get her to safety and then make his escape. If it’s at a point where she recognizes him, however, it may be time for JJ to finally tell her the truth about his life: Anti’s existence, his abilities, what he’s done to JJ by puppeting and possessing him...That’s going to be a rough talk, but he doesn’t want to risk her getting traumatized any further, at least not without knowing why.
