Dr. Iplier must have compromised Google Blue's systems at his maintenance checks. That was the only reasonable explanation the other androids had for his behavior—commanding Red not to let the doctor see him with blood on his hands, rebuking Yellow for exploiting Edward's phobias with his pranks, even being on that first-name basis with Edward at all.
"Security footage reveals you've spent 32% of the week with that human," Green announced coolly.
"I have not lost sight of our secondary objective. I'm profiting from his sentimentality and services while they last," Blue growled, though his core dimmed by a noticeable two percent as he said it.
I know Googleplier is friends with Dr. Iplier (I so love the DBH aspect of that friendship!). My question is, what are the other Google's impression of Dr. Iplier? So they trust him? Or do they go more with Dark? Or do they just see him as another human for their agenda? Sorry for all the questions at once!
Out of the three others, Edward gets along best with Brayden/Google Green. Green is ambivalent, which means he’s okay to be around. Red pushes pretty hard for the destruction of humans and Oliver plays mean pranks on Iplier just to watch him get scared. He likes seeing humans frightened.
That being said, they all answer to Google Blue in the end, so Red has been commanded not to hurt Edward and has to obey. Once Blue finds out Oliver is behind the pranks, it’s probably not going to be pretty ^^”
I thought google blue’s crankiness was already set to eleven - if red is worse than him he must be a really difficult guy to get along with!
Yeah, he is. Sometimes he likes to send the other Egos on wild goose chases just to get rid of them for a while (He’s Google Maps so he’s sort of the GPS in the house) but he’ll deny it and get mad if they accuse him later
if there’s a WebMGreen, is there a RedMD? or a version of the same with oliver? (can’t think of a name for it lol)
No, Red is like Blue’s crankiness dialed up by eleven, and Oliver is too mischievous and joins Wilford in playing mean pranks on Edward to freak him out or upset him. He tends to keep his distance from them.
What are the other Google's relationship with the other Ipliers? Specifically the doctor but if you have any ideas for how they interact the other egos I'd love to hear!
Reid (Red), Brayden (Green) and Oliver (Yellow) don’t have much of a relationship with Edward because Google created them to, I quote, “Never lose site of the primary objective.” They have less leeway with their emotions than Neil (AKA Google Blue). But! If Google Blue commands them, they will engage in a cuddle pile to keep Edward warm.
Apart from that, Reid has a bit of a rapport with King of the Squirrels -- more of a kind of grumpy eye-rolling affection and obligation to make sure he finds his way back home safely. (Reid is Google Maps)
Brayden has lots of deep, vast thoughts and needs time to himself to sort them out (He’s Google Drive). He distances himself from pretty much everyone, even the other Googles, unless he needs something from them.
Oliver, the anomaly, is closest to Wilford and takes part in some of the mean pranks they pull on poor Edward, for which Google Blue chastises him severely. Oliver is, ironically, a fan of chaos and disorder. He’s the type who would code awful glitches into their programs just because he’s curious to see what would happen. Wilford likes that a lot!
If you're still doing the fluff.. .I don't think I've seen this one but.. Fluff for Google Red?
Ooh, that’s a unique one! He’s rarely ever talked about!
I like to think that Red -- or Reid, if we’re going by his human alias -- likes to take long walks away from the others. It’s not because he feels the need to be alone but he just loves exploring the world around him. He’s Google Maps! He knows where he’s going and he loves taking pictures of various wildlife and people that cross his path. Granted, it’s to use for the sake of the primary objective, but he has a special folder that he keeps locked away for things he finds particularly interesting and eye-catching.
Iplier goes missing for a few days with no one knowing besides Google. He goes to the clinic to only find a single picture of Eric and Edward taking a selfie on his desk. What would Google do?
He’d go to Google Red, who’s Google Maps, and try to locate him. If he’s disassociating and thinks Eric’s still alive, who knows where he’d go or what lengths he’d go to in order to find him? Google better find Edward first before he puts himself in danger!
We know Dr Iplier's relationship with Neel, but what about his relationship with the others? Does he have a favorite? Or does he only spend time with Google Prime?
Well, like I said earlier, I don’t exactly consider Reid, Brayden and Oliver having too much of a relationship with Edward because Google created them to, I quote, “Never lose site of the primary objective.” They have less leeway with their emotions than Neil, or Google Blue. (Plus Oliver, the anomaly, is closer with Wilford and takes part in some of the mean pranks they pull on poor Iplier, for which Google Blue chastises him severely)
But if he had to choose a favorite from the others, it’d probably be Brayden. He doesn’t cause as much trouble as the other two!
So, I have a question. With google’s upgrades I don’t know a lot about them. I know that yellow is Oliver and that’s it. I would appreciate it if you could explain them to me
Well, aside from the fact that Yellow’s name is Oliver, everything else is made up by the fans. Oliver is generally seen as the soft and compassionate one, though I see him as more of a trickster. Here are the headcanons I have for them:
Reid (the red Google) is definitely the most temperamental one in the group. He’s controlling, impatient, and infinitely stubborn. He likes to be very insistent on his own way of doing things, but he easily gets confused, which just frustrates him further.
Brayden (the green Google) is more introspective and intellectual; he has deep thoughts and needs time on his own to sort them all out. He distances himself from pretty much everyone, even the other Googles, unless he needs something from them.
Oliver (the yellow Google) is naive and playful; he’s the one who enjoys exacerbating glitches for his own amusement, but he honestly means for it to be fun for all. He doesn’t consider any consequences. He’s the type to enable Safe Search and then peek at the blacklisted pages, regretting it immediately.
Neel – Googleplier himself – well, we all know about his personality. I tend to think of the others as his “imaginary friends” or clones. They’re the various sides of his personality that could have been, had he been programmed differently or had a glitch not corrupted them, but aren’t. They keep him company and give him alternative perspectives on things.
Wait are the other Googles around in this? Like, what are the upgrades relationship with Doc?
Well, I don’t exactly consider Reid, Brayden and Oliver having too much of a relationship with Edward because Google created them to, I quote, “Never lose site of the primary objective.” They have less leeway with their emotions than Neil, or Google Blue. (Plus Oliver, the anomaly, is closer with Wilford and takes part in some of the mean pranks they pull on poor Iplier, for which Google Blue chastises him severely)
Well, let's KickStart that Dead(not really) Iplier Angst Heart. Oliver decides to play with something that isn't his, and has to be "Made an example of". He really shouldn't have touched one of the King's subjects. Even the gentlest of creatures can turn into a ravenous monster.
Ohhh...Oh, dear. Imagine Google in a meeting with Dark and the Host, normal as usual, and then doubling over and gasping at a sudden agonizing pain in his chest. He starts glitching and twitching, managing to gasp out that something is wrong with one of his duplicates, but he’s malfunctioning too badly to find out where or why. Not to worry, though; as soon as he sensed it, Reid (Google Red/Google Maps) began tracking Oliver’s location.
Let’s hope he gets to him before the squirrels start eating any critical biocomponents.
I feel like for King to get the help of any of the other Ipliers he'd need to make deals with them (maybe besides Bing?). Say he wants Reid's help, but Reid won't help him find Shepard until King promises to do something for him later. Which would likely be at least humiliating, if not worse (Also, the image of Google or Bing saving Shepard from the dollmaker is amusing to me- the dollmaker stunned that he's faced with bots that he can't hurt)
Yeah, Google will always hold him accountable for that favor, even if the debt lasts for years, just so he can squirm every time he sees him, wondering when he’s going to have to repay. After all, if Google’s saving Shepherd’s life, he very well could expect the King to take a life in return...
(I actually think the Doll Maker would be rather intrigued; he could see the future leading to windup dolls!)
For a little more Silver angst, let’s say that when he is captured by the Dollmaker and slashed through the back King senses that something is wrong. Their the closest and didn’t you say that sometimes the egos form bonds?
Oh man, that would NOT be good! D: Although it would alert someone that Shepherd and Jackie are in trouble and need to be rescued...
It starts out like a normal day, of course. The King just thinks Shepherd’s doing his usual rounds out in the city and he’s too distracted to think about it. Since the King is a natural sprinter, Bing has challenged him to a race! The King is going to kick his butt in this race!
Halfway across the yard, however, he seizes up, crying out and dropping to one knee. He feels his heart racing with fear, adrenaline, confusion, pain -- there’s so much pain, his upper back is burning -- he starts tearing off his cloak and his furs and his vest, scrambling.
“Dude, are you okay?” Bing asks in concern as the King hisses and gasps, gingerly peeling off his undershirt.
“My...back...”
“There’s nothing wrong with it!” Bing exclaims, completely bewildered.
“N-Nothing? No, there -- there has to be --”
“There’s nothing, King, not a scratch!”
The King processes this for several seconds, his breath quickening as he redresses and fumbles with his phone. Shepherd doesn’t pick up and that’s when he knows for sure. “Bing, track down Reid! Now!”
Google Red, also known as Reid, is Google Maps. Through him, the King and Bing can track Shepherd’s phone and find him. The King can barely walk, however. They know they have to go to one of the others for help.
