Wait, I’m a little confused with the Swap Septic partners. Lana is Dr. Marv’s cheating ex gf/almost fiancée and Charles’ family ran away to try and find a way back home, but who are the other two? Did they swap too? Is Swap Lydia the same? And why does Splendor have a family if canon Marv is a single Pringle? Have they been mentioned before and I just somehow completely missed it?? :0
There are some parts of my Swap universe that deviate from my Main, mostly because of personality!
For Splendor: Yes, they’ve been mentioned before but I guess you overlooked it. Technically he doesn’t have a family because he doesn’t know he started one ^^” Maire didn’t tell him she was pregnant when she left so he has no idea there’s a daughter. But the reason I had him married in the first place was because his character developed to be so different from my Main Marvin. Main Marvin is aromantic, not easily trusting, a little reclusive, etc. Splendor just naturally turned out cheery, outgoing, overeager -- I knew he would be on the dating scene. However, he is like Main Marvin in that he’s married to his magic, which is partially what made his relationship fall apart.
For James and Lydia: Long story short, I kept Lydia as James’ girlfriend because he has very little happiness in his life; he needed a smidgen of light in his darkness. I’m still figuring out what I want her Swap character to be. Someone once suggested she and Maire swap professions, which could be interesting. I don’t know, it’s a work in progress.
At long last, the Swaptics make known their true forms! This was a ton of work but it’s so satisfying to look at all of my boys together now <3

“Hey! You there, what are you doing out here without your mama or papa?” Henrik exclaimed as a little girl with pigtails tromped confidently down the sidewalk toward him. “Are you lost, little one?”
“Nope! I’m going to the park!” she announced brightly. “Mama was taking forever to get ready, so I’m going all by myself!” She paused. “I like your hair, it’s pretty!”
“Oh – thank you! I like your hair too…What is your name?”
“Anika!”
“Did you tell your mama you were leaving, Anika? If you didn’t, she will worry very much. You should go back and wait patiently; the park will be more fun with her.” He couldn’t help but laugh when she pouted skeptically. “It will be! Maybe if you go back fast, she will never know you are gone! It will be our big secret.”
“Mmm…okay, I guess,” she relented, considering for a moment before brightening. “Maybe she’ll be ready as soon as I get back!”
“Then go, hurry! Run to get her!” As she ran back the way she’d come, he couldn’t help but shake his head wryly. Sweet girl.
