Ok Tumblr family, for those of you who are interested, here are my best Gale portraits so far...
I am learning to walk before running, so have been focused on front facing Gales, and trying to develop a kind of style. I have spent an alarming number of hours staring at Gale's face, and it is truly just hyperfixation and obsession that keeps me going at this point 🫠 The number of times I have wanted to give up 😭 Drawing (and specifically, drawing Gale) is so hard 💀

I am struggling 😭 how do y'all do this for real 😱
My reflections as a total beginner learning to draw via drawing Gale's face:
1. Gale's face shape is my nemesis. Why can I never get it right sjapalafkala
2. Angles and perspective - like how and wtf? How do you artists just get it perfectly? It's so fucking hard and everything looks so fucking skewed all the time fjaalalfkalaajhfkrkwsjs
3. I swear I know Gale's deep set brow and eyes like I know the back of my hand but why do they never come out that way UGH
4. As above with Gale's very kissable lips
5. Gale's hair and beard - we are friends. You understand me and I understand you. I love you and I cherish you.
6. I have a newfound appreciation for Gale's nose. And I get it. I can draw it. Wooooo
