During the Bosnian war, war crimes were commonality on all sides. Mass executions, and specific targeting of civilians especially. It is still a highly contentious subject in the region.
In 16th of June 1999, Serbian paramilitaries kidnapped an Albanian Kosovar family and planned to rape the daughters in front of their family and then murder the rest. Four British paratroopers were informed of this and despite being outnumbered 2-1, stormed the house and subdued the rapists.

Zastava M93 Black Arrow (This rifle rivals the OSV-96 in terms of barrel length. It appears in 2 different calibers; U.S 50 BMG and Russian 12.7x108mm. Interestingly the M93 chambered in the Russian caliber is much longer. It has the same barrel length as the OSV-96, at around 39 inches. There is an unconfirmed rumor that one of these rifles shot down an Apache helicopter during the Kosovo War by taking out the main rotary assembly.)
