It's probably the most hard-core battle to take place in my life time, and I missed it.
My friend tells me I would never want to be there, but the whole reason I want to join the Corps is to fight with some hard men (No gay joke intended).
I guess I'm to moto for my own good.
September 2 Republic of Korea noted the 60 anniversary of victory in the Yankees.
In honor of the holiday was arranged historical reconstruction of the battle of the Nakdong River between the North Korean troops and the troops of the Republic of Korea, among them were units of the U.S. Army.
On This Day in 1942 - the Battle of El Alamein began. It would last until July 27, 1942. The battle was fought in the deserts of North Africa between the Axis (Germany and Italy) and British Imperial Forces. The Allied victory here stopped the Axis powers from advancing further into Africa and the Germans surrendered in North Africa in May 1943. For more details on the battle, visit this site.
