U.S. F-15 fighters and Russian SU-27 fighters escorting a simulated hijacked airliner flying toward U.S. airspace during the second day of flying for Exercise Vigilant Eagle, Aug. 9, 2011. The US fighters took over the escort from a pair of Russian fighters once the airliner, a Russian Federation Air Force jet, left Russian airspace and entered U.S. airspace. 

F-15 Eagles and SU-27 fighters escorted the aircraft while E-3 and A-50 airborne warning and control aircraft monitored them.

F-16D PBU Fighting Falcon serial number 84-373 became the first F-16 in ROKAF history to log 10,000 flight hours. USAF reportedly has 6 F-16 with the same milestone.

373 was among the first F-16 to be acquired by South Korea, having begun operation out of Daegu Air Base in 1986.

Over the 34 years, 373 flew 7,400,000km.
