The Waffenlauf
The Waffenlauf is a type of Swiss marathon where every current or former soldier can participate. They are required to carry an army rifle (such as the K31, Stgw 57 and Stgw 90) and their uniform.
Pictured is the all time champion Albrecht Moser, that won this competition over 50 times while carrying his old K31 and his old army uniform.

Out getting groceries… (Even though the U.S has the most guns in civilian hands in the world, there is no state that allows for the open carry of long guns. Ironically this image is from Switzerland, where they are very lax about gun control and majority of its citizens have proper military training. You still need a permit in Switzerland to open carry but no one but the tourists seem to freak out when they see this. It’s hard to tell but it looks like an older SIG 556.)
