Nothing but the truth. I like to imagine my gramps used stacked commies 12 high back in the day to give my family the opportunities we have now. Regrann from @spotterup - Vietnam. I was born there. It holds a special place for me. This image was taken by my father. By 1975 it is likely many of these soldiers would be dead or fleeing Vietnam in order to get to America. As we grew up, my father continually reminded his children that sometimes those who enjoy the greatest liberties teach others a revised history, and forget the war dead who made that liberty possible. My mother lost an entire family by coming to America and often felt she should have stayed in Vietnam and died with the rest of her family. Her Uncle and her mother were killed by ‘re-education’ in Vietnam’s higher centers of learning. Her elder brother, who worked along with the Viet Cong, was given an esteemed position as a chauffeur. But America gave my mother a lot of opportunities. Her privileges and rights came by way of sacrifice. We owe this nation much. And I thank every single Vietnam veteran for their service and for trying to make things right in a screwed up place #thisisthedayyourlifewillsurelychange #apparel #fitness #running #climbing #tactical #merica #SOF #EDC #violentwhennecessary #gunsdaily #weaponsdaily #igmilitia #igdaily #2a #gunslifestyle #edc #carryeveryday #sunsoutgunsout #SWAT #outdoors #gearreviews #police #hiking #vet #fashion #spotterup - #regrann
Seeing that I can't get a refund on plane tickets after my gf dumped me, I'm just gona turn my Seattle Trip into a week long backpacking trip by myself From Seattle to Portland
Last Day: Tactical Movement/Hike Back to Camp Area
This was a kick in the dick for a lot of people and some true colors showed.
Went off trail with a couple of my buds a couple weeks ago. Never got to post this up.
First I was like "fuck this dawg..."
Then I was like "I CAN DO ANYTHING!"
70 - 80 lb in my ruck and a flak jacket (with Sapis') up a 3 mile steep hill (total of 6 miles).
I wasn't tired at all... IT JUST FUCKING HURT LIKE HELL.
The best part was when a man (assuming he's a Marine) ran down the hill and yelled at me "GET TO THE TOP DEVIL DOG" as to which I reply "OOH-RAH!"
Most motivating moment of my life.
Went on a late night hike with a couple of my good friends last night.
We walk on trail/dried up creek and just joked around. On the trail on of my pals was an inch away from a freaken possum and I was like "FUCK DUDE THAT'S A MOTHER FUCKER!" and shined the light on that bitch. He was drooling like crazy and we just backed off...
After the trail we went to Denny's at 0000 and ate unlimted pancakes (really just 5) and watched Generation Kill the rest of the night until we knocked out.
We were supposed to go hiking at 0500 but when we woke up, I just said we'll go at 0700...then when that came around, we all said fuck it and watched another episode of Generation Kill.
Fun sleep over.
Pictures I took at around 0500 when hiking up.
The first picture was once we go the the top.
I'm the only idiot who smiled while everyone else was serious...
Went hiking up Mission Peak this morning.
Once we got up, we cooked noodles lol
(Scenery pictures to follow!)
Victory up the mountain. hehe
that fucking ammo can was heavy as shite.
