I have a funny story about my Ante mare undae art with guardian dragon. It was revealed me in the dream. Literally. And not just idea of the drawing itself but the process of drawing. I didn't have any thoughts about flight rising in general and guardian dragons and water flight in particular (I'm not from water and guardians are not my favourite breed so I still don't know where it came from) but the dream was so vivid that I couldn't resist and drew the dragon.

Usually I make a reference scry for proportion check and (mostly) as source for colours and patterns. Here I didn't have one, just vague thoughts about phthalo (since I knew it should give lighter colour to the spikes), but I tried to create the scry based on the art.
I think it turned out surprisingly close, considering that the process of painting was like "хехехихеухехе colours))))"
