The gift of fortitude allows us to overcome difficulties and endure life’s challenges. By embracing this inner strength we can achieve a monumental growth of our spirit that allows us to face our battles head on in the face of adversity. We are able to overcome things we never thought we could and have more and more faith in our abilities to endure life’s greatest obstacles. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

Whether we take it upon ourselves to take a look within or simply cross our arms in defeat The Hanged Man gives the opportunity to see from a different perspective. Whist suffering leads to understanding, stagnation is also a threat. Now is the time to undergo that transformation lest you be left stuck, hung in a tree.

I’ve had a lot of anxieties lately, so I made this spread to help identify what I’m worrying so much about and better focus on the here and now. Being present is focusing on the “right here, right now”. I spend way too much time dwelling on the past and worrying about the future, rather than on the present moment. No matter how much we dwell or worry, we can’t change the past or control the direction of the future. We need to bear witness to the present moment, lest we get lost in time.

  1. What I’m worrying about too much from the past.
  2. What I’m worrying about too much for the future.
  3. What I can do to be more present.
  4. What I need to appreciate right now.
