So I’ve been tossing around the idea of an AU where Emmett is an assassin too and they meet Murdoc while trying to take out the same target as him…
anyways.. little bit of lore time (for this AU specifically which for future reference I’ll be referring to as the ‘partners in crime AU’)
In this AU, Emmett (aliased as Eros) is a hitman with a penchant for using his archery skills to get the job done. He’s also a two time Olympic Games participant so that is the cover for his assassin work (why he’s always traveling/why he has such high end archery equipment/etc)
He meets Murdoc when the two go after a hit that both of them were being paid to take out (a contingency plan by the employer, tho they later playfully debate exactly which one of them was the backup plan).
The two have a serious enemies to lovers relationship in a different way then canon Emmett and Murdoc did.
These two are constantly trying to one up each other after their first encounter. The romantic tension is crazy…

(Context, this is the episode where his ex wife kidnaps their son, pins the kidnapping on a different ex associate of Murdoc’s and all the while is working with said associate to extort money from Murdoc in exchange for the safe return of his son- yea long story short Murdoc’s ex wife is AWFUL and not in the fun silly way Murdoc is!)
ANYWAYS the point of me posting this particular gif of him is because he’s hot when he’s a bit roughed up and more over when he’s all worked up (obviously I don’t want him to be upset, esp given the actual context of this ep but shhh we will just ignore that rn lol)
