It’s not a harmless thing to spread. It’s literally one of the most common misconceptions of autistic people, that we actually do know things because “of COURSE, EVERYBODY does” and just want to make people dance like puppets for our amusement.

Castiel isn’t manipulating people; even if you think it’s a harmless manipulation, for his own entertainment or whatever, it isn’t happening!!!! HE GENUINELY DOESN’T KNOW THINGS. EVEN THINGS YOU THINK HE SHOULD KNOW. HE DOESN’T KNOW THEM. HE’S NOT PRETENDING. HE DOESN’T KNOW. STOP TREATING HIM AS SOME CLEVER MASTERMIND ABOUT THIS AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE REALITY OF HIM BEING A RELATIVELY GUILELESS, CONFUSED, GENTLE PERSON WHO DOESN’T KNOW THINGS.
