Roger Fuckbythenavele
Found in court records dating back to 1310, this is believed to be the first recorded usage of the F-word with a sexual connotation. It was not believed that Roger was born with the name, but rather it was attributed to him as he was an incompetent copulator.
According Dr. Paul Booth of Kelle University, who discovered the manuscript, “either it refers to an inexperienced copulator, referring to someone trying to have sex with the navel, or it’s a rather extravagant explanation for a dimwit, someone so stupid they think that this is the way to have sex.”
The name appears three times in the court document, each time spelled slightly differently (Fuckebythenavele, Fukkebythenavele, and Fuckebythenavel), which also suggests it was a nickname and not his real name.
