How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom? 

I’ve been writing fic since June of 2016 (whaaaat?!) and I’ve been on tumblr since January of  … 2018 I think. One of the first things I did when I got on tumblr was befriend @kmomof4​ and sign up for the very first CSSNS :)

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

I binged watched Once on Netflix originally (after ignoring my sister begging me to watch for years) because I was curious about the Frozen arc. My sister kept saying, “just wait for Captain Hook!” When he first appeared in season two, I thought my sister was crazy because while he was attractive, I normally hate the “bad boy with a heart of gold” trope. Then “Tallahassee” happened. It wasn’t just the hand bandaging scene, either. I watched that episode with my husband, and we kept laughing over how much Killian and Emma sounded like us, especially when we first met. Multiple times we said “who does that sound like?” That’s when I started to ship it. 

What drew you to this event? 

Honestly? I was new to tumblr when the first CSSNS happened, and someone I knew from over on Ao3 said that I had to reach out and form friendships. Joining an event seemed like the best way to do that, and since I had always wanted to explore Killian as an elf, it just all came together! Now I don’t want to miss out on all the fun each year :)

What inspired your topic? 

This year, I couldn’t think of a supernatural fic idea. However, I didn’t want to miss out on the event, so I offered to beta and do an art piece.

I’m just excited to see what the writers I’ve been paired with are doing!

What kind of art do you like to do? Picsets, painting, digital, etc? Feel free to give as much info as you like. 

Picsets are the only thing I can do because I’m not really artistic in any other way, lol! I got a subscription to Canva when my novel was published just so I could make professional Instagram and Facebook posts. Then I started using it to make picsets for my own fics, and I sort of got addicted to it! I’ve made some fic art with it as gifts to fandom friends, so I thought “why not do it for CSSNS?”

Who/what have you beta’d before, or is this your first time? Feel free to give as much info as you like. 

I beta’d last year for @teamhook​ for the CSSNS last minute when her beta ended up with other commitments irl. I was an English teacher though in a former life, so I guess you can say it used to be my job, lol!

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

Like every year, getting to know new people and chatting with old ones on discord! I’m so thrilled to welcome Melanie back to the event, even if she isn’t writing this year! She will be doing artwork for @snowbellewells​ in the first wave and betaing for @leavemedarlin​ in the second. Everyone go welcome her back and give her lots of love!!!

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

Probably the second I saw those two look at each other for the first time. They just had great chemistry and I already wanted Hook to be redeemed at some point.

What drew you to this event? 

I saw it posted on tumblr and thought it would be fun to participate. Especially once inspiration struck

What inspired your topic? 

I looked through the themes that were allowed and mythology just spoke to me. Especially since it was already cannon for the show so it felt more natural. And I like old myths.

Do you know that bit in Deadpool where Wade and Morena where they do this game of who has the shittier life? Killian and Emma can genuinely pull that off.

But they both also have points of light  in their life. People who inspired them to be honorable, hopeful and good.

When they met their respective best friends, Mary Margaret and David, who also followed them to the same college they thought they had everything. And then they met each other.

So here they are about four years into their relationship, ready to get their degrees and start on their future…

When did life ever go as expected for them?

Still, how were they supposed to know they’d be thrown into a YA novel?

Seriously their best friends are the children of who now? And Killian’s boss is what?

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event?

How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom? 

It’s been about six months. I binged watched OUAT in September ‘19 and immediately dusted the two years of dust off this tumblr account to get stuck in. I’ve met so many lovely people and met some fantastic friends!

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

Tallahassee! I know they hadn’t had much screen time at that point and Killian was well and truly a bad guy but enemies/rivals to lovers is one of my favourite tropes. I started reading fic when I was partway through season 5 and that just solidified my love for them as characters and as a pairing.

What drew you to this event? 

EVERYTHING! The combinations of CS and supernatural subject matter is a match made in heaven for me. I love supernatural elements in fiction. Vampires? Werewolves? Ghosts? Magic? Demons? All of it! I’m so excited to be able to take part! Also, so many fantastic CS works have come from this event in previous years. I can’t wait to see what this year brings!

What inspired your topic? 

In short: The Witcher universe. I hadn’t even considered that I could use it as my CSSNS idea until Nat @carpedzem​ reminded me that I’d promised her a CS Witcher!AU late last year. It’s all grown from there. I could go on and on about the lore and the intricacies of the world have been my favourite to get lost in for the past 5 years but… I’m hoping it’ll all show when the fic drops.

For the first time in a long time, he’s asleep before his head hits the pillow. The exhaustion of the weeks passed weighing his bones like lead, as if they’d sink straight through the mattress and into the nether below. He wishes they would. 

“Killian.” 

He jerks awake—no, not awake. Asleep. Further into the embrace of a dream. Oppressive darkness and silence surround him, his keenest senses rendered useless in their wake. Beneath him, a plush leather armchair. It’s painfully familiar. Precious, somewhat. Worn and comfortable and moulded to him as if he’d spent a century sat only here. This dreamscape. This void.

 Oneiromancy. Perfect. 

“Killian.” 

A woman’s voice— her voice. 

“Emma.” 

“And I thought you’d forgotten about me.” She smiles, suddenly appearing in his lap, hips straddling his thighs as if it hadn’t been almost five years since they’d last parted. Five long, arduous years. 

“Impossible, love. You’re not so easy to forget.” Killian can feel the steady beat of her heart as his hands instinctively take her waist. Soft, so soft. And centuries old. 

“You never thought to stop by on your travels then?” 

“The path is—”

“The path is the path. I know.” Pouting, she brings her arms around Killian’s neck. The thin swath of lace she’s wearing does nothing to hide her figure but its intricacies marr the details he wants very much to focus on; the blush of her breasts, the swell of her arse, what lies between those slender legs. Each time he tries to take her in, see past the veil of fabric, it shifts, obscuring his gaze once more. Fucking magic. “But I have missed you terribly.” 

“Emma Swan, legendary sorceress and advisor to the throne of Misthaven, missing but a lowly Witcher?” The pale expanse of her neck calls for his kiss, so close and yet so far. “People will talk.” 

With a violet flash, Emma winks. “Noise complaints, hopefully.” 

His eyes slip shut, trying to maintain what little composure he has left. As disconcerting as dream magic is, he doesn’t want the spell to end. The feel of her so close is maddening. Waking to an empty bed will be torture. 

Words he can’t possibly say nor mean jump to his throat, aching to be whispered against her mouth, passed to her tongue by his own. They burn. 

“Come see me.” 

“Emma—” 

“I need you. I can’t tell you why—not here—but I need you.” There’s a silent plea hidden in her words, behind the typical bravado she always favours. He almost doesn’t catch it. She adjusts herself slightly, sitting back on his knees and letting her hands reverently trace the scars across his shoulders and chest. Ones she’s seen before and ones she hasn’t, long healed but still raw to her touch. It’s been too long. Her tongue darts out to wet her lips and it takes every modicum of restraint he has not to kiss her there and then. “Come to King David’s court in Misthaven. There’s a tourney one week from now.” 

“I’m sensing I don’t have a choice.” 

“Of course you have a choice. It’s in your best interests to make the right one.” 

Killian sighs, letting his palms slide from her middle to her thighs, taking in the phantom warmth he’s missed so greatly. Emma Swan is an enigma. She’s centuries of power wrapped in mystery and untold sorrows and it lingers beneath her skin. She’s the first kiss of morning sun, the dark chill of winter, the wild lilacs that grow along the dirt roads of Misthaven. She’s true love’s first kiss and the denial of destiny. She’s nothing and everything, the beginning and the end. 

And, occasionally, his. 

“One week?” He muses, too focused on the way her nails feel against his skin, as if she were there, as if it were real. Her eyes, green as woodland moss, captivate him in the way they always used to, but they’re not the same. A mere mimicry. Beneath his fingers, the dream begins to fall away.

There’s no depth, no glimmer of magic below the surface. 

Everything’s hollow and when he finally presses his lips to her fading visage, all he tastes is ash, dirt and the absence of all things. 

“One week.” 

It echoes around the cramped room, a whisper in the darkness not yet reached by morning’s soft first touches. A reminder.

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

I was scrolling through tumblr and I think I saw gifs from the Beanstalk episode and I IMMEDIATELY needed to watch because oh my god I could feel the chemistry through the screen of my laptop!

What drew you to this event? 

I had always loved this event and the fics that came out of it but I never really had a ‘supernatural’ fic idea in my head to contribute.

What inspired your topic? 

The book Matchmaking for Beginners by Maddie Dawson features a protagonist who finds out that she’s a matchmaker and I began thinking about how someone like Emma would handle that gift. Then this whole world where soul mates existed and so these people who have these ‘gifts’ to match make exist as well and run businesses based on finding soulmates for people. 

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

I’m most looking forward to just getting back into writing again. I haven’t been writing much since OUAT ended but I just really want to get this idea out and into the world because it’s the first time i’m excited about a plot idea in a long time.

What drew you to this event? 

I had an idea and I needed the motivation to get off my butt and actually write it. 

What inspired your topic? 

The Parent Trap. But I didn’t like the idea of Emma and Killian having been married and then divorced, so I had to figure out why else they’d be apart.

“It’s Miss Emma Swan, not Mrs. Swan. I never married their father.” And why Emma felt the need to reveal that last part was beyond her. It’s not like she needed to defend her choices to this man. But something about him made her want to tell him all her secrets, even if they had only just met, so she added, “I didn’t trust Neal enough to marry him. He left me in a bad way after Henry and he only came back into our lives when Henry was 11. I didn’t want to let him back in, but I did, and then Hope came along.” God, why was she just vomiting her whole life story to this man? 

“But he left you anyway?” Killian asked seeing as there was no way Hope’s father wouldn’t be here with his daughter missing.  

“He died.” Emma said softly. “Apartment fire when Hope was two. It’s why we ended up moving to Boston. We’d been living in New York before”. Killian’s ears perked at the mention of an apartment fire. 

“Same with Alice’s mother. Apartment fire when she was two. It’s also how I lost the hand. What are the odds?” Killian wondered aloud as he thought of Milah and how he’d tried to get her and their young daughter out of their apartment, but the smoke had become too much for her and she’d collapsed halfway down the stairs. 

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

All the cool stories! I had a blast reading them all last year. 

I loved both versions of The Parent Trap so I can’t wait to see how Lisa reimagines this for the event this summer!!! Her fic drops on July 7. Everyone go welcome her to the event and give her lots of love!!!

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

As much as i loved killian jones from the minute he stepped onto the screen, it actually wasn’t until i started to get the hang of their rhythm in season three that i was “hooked.”  The CS movie almost killed me with its delicious perfection.

What drew you to this event? 

I had been working on an exciting story idea with @thisonesatellite​ that involves magic, and darkness, and canon divergence, and this seemed like the perfect way to “be a part of something” and get the story done together.

What inspired your topic? 

Buffy and Angel and Emma and Killian.  and TheDarkness™.  So much Darkness.

This will be a OUAT Season Five canon divergence in two parts, re-doing both arcs of the season in new (and i think unexpected) ways. There’s gonna be Darkness but also hope and romance and True Love and magic spells and prophecies and sword fighting. 

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

I’m really excited to work with my friends to bring this idea to fruition.  What started as a random tumblr DM has turned into a great group project that I’m delighted to be contributing to.

Season 5 is, I think, my least liked season. Probably because it was the first season I watched week to week and, oh my WORD, It was AGONY waiting for the next episode!!! When Killian used his teeth to tie that knot on the scarf around Emma’s hand. *fans self at the mere memory of the moment* 

What drew you to this event? 

I participated in the first year of the event, bowed out of last year but I didn’t want to miss another. Especially when I had an idea that I knew would fit perfectly with the event. 

What inspired your topic? 

A meme I found on Facebook close to Halloween last year. It was about the idea of vampires soliciting on behalf of Dracula.

Killian’s head shot up from where it had been buried in the book he’d been reading, to fix his girlfriend with a bewildered stare. He’d known Emma Swan for fifteen months now, and she was still the only person in his life that continued to shock him. 

“Excuse me?” 

“Why haven’t you fed from me yet?” she repeated, as she took her seat on the sofa next to him and held out innocuous tin can that had quickly become a staple in her refrigerator. 

“Where has this come from?” Killian asked, his brow furrowing with his confusion. 

Emma shrugged her shoulders as she pulled her legs up to tuck underneath her. 

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

Seeing all the wonderfully creative fic/art that drops over the summer!

How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom? 

A few years. Honestly not sure when exactly. 

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

I’m the worst because I don’t know actually know an exact moment. I just always liked them when I watched the show. 

What drew you to this event? 

I participated last year because Krystal wanted me to, and I ended up writing literally one of my top three favorite stories I’ve ever written with Not Your (soul)Mate. So that was a really fun time, and I figured it would be the same way this time!

What inspired your topic? 

If things go according to plan, which knowing me they won’t, my topic is inspired by a one-shot I wrote last year called Wishing on a Star(fish). I got a few requests for a follow-up because it was open-ended, so I might just write a follow-up or may change up the original and add some more detail/change some plot point. 

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

Getting to explore a story that’s outside of my comfort zone!

I’ve been a fan of the show since the pilot aired, but I didn’t engage with the fandom until October of 2016 when I joined Tumblr. Before then I lurked in some FB groups.

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

The moment Emma pulled Hook back by his hair and pressed a knife against his throat.

What drew you to this event? 

I just love all things Supernatural!

What inspired your topic? 

For my Vampire themed one shot, I was inspired by a scene from the Vampire Diaries books that I loved so much as a teenager. For my multi-parter, I was inspired by the idea of putting a Once twist on the short story and Fox tv show, Sleepy Hollow.

From my vampire one shot, tentatively titled Crave: 

 Emma turned down the last alleyway leading to her house when she stopped short. Halfway down the narrow corridor was a couple locked in an intimate embrace, the man’s mouth kissing the woman’s neck as she let out sounds that sent a ripple of awkwardness over Emma’s skin. She was about to turn around and head back out of the alley, hopefully undetected, when the man lifted his head and Emma’s heart dropped into her stomach. 

 His pale face glowed in the soft light attempting to dispel the darkness of the alley from the street beyond. An expression of unbridled satisfaction beset his features, sending Emma’s pulse racing. His eyes snapped open, the vivid blue of his irises only a thin sliver outlining his blown wide pupils that were now trained on her. Her caught breath stuttered when his tongue swept over his lips and flicked at the corner of his mouth. The corner where something dark and viscous seemed to cling. 

 Dark and viscous like the line of fluid slowly trailing down the neck of the woman still wrapped in his arms. Killian’s arms. 

Breaking off whatever invisible hold his eyes had on her, Killian turned his attention to the woman, a co-ed, Emma could now determine. Murmuring something Emma was too far away to hear, he pulled out a square of folded fabric and gently wiped it against her neck. The girl’s head lolled in some sort of agreed compliance and Killian stepped aside, letting her pass, her steps unsteady as she made her way to the far end of the alley. Bringing up the fabric, Killian dabbed at the corner of his mouth and it was then that Emma realized what the viscous matter was. 

Blood. 

He hadn’t been kissing the girl’s neck. He’d been… 

 ~/~ 

 From my Sleepy Hollow AU, final title TBD: 

 Killian Jones’ grip was becoming perilous on the delicate glass clutched in his hand. Casually slouched against the doorframe that led into the grand parlor of the Von Braun house, he watched with clenched jaw as the object of his affections was spun around to the merriment of the music the humble yet lively quartet was providing to the party goers. A party being held in honor of Von Braun’s daughter, Milah. The aforementioned object of Killian Jones’ affections.

 It ought to be his arms holding her, his feet moving along to the time of the music, his face catching her smile, and his eyes sparkling back to meet her gaze. Not the upstart interloper Rumple Von Stiltskin. Killian snorted into his cordial glass. Von Stiltskin. If that were truly the man’s name, Killian would eat his cap. 

 Since the day the tailor had disembarked from the ship that had brought him to the colonies, Killian had suspected the man to be putting on airs. Given his profession, it was expected that he would be well-dressed. Regaled in finery with an unmuddled accent of the Old World, Rumple talked a fine game but Killian knew, deep down, the man had not grown up in the privileged society he sought to ingratiate himself into once he’d opened shop. His scheme of beguiling the ladies of status with his bolts of silks and fashions currently promenading down the streets of Paris (or so the man claimed), had done its job rather nicely, which would not have mattered to Killian one bit had it not been for the lady of status on whom he’d chosen to set his sights.

getting my stories out to the fandom and experiencing all the fabulous content my fellow creators will be contributing as well.

I have been watching Once since the beginning but took a break and caught up around season 4. 

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

Right before I started getting back into the show I kept seeing CS videos and they were great. It’s been smooth sailing ever since.

What drew you to this event? 

I really wanted to be a part of it the last two years but real life commitments kept me from joining. My schedule is a lot easier now so here I am.

What inspired your topic? 

I’ve had this idea sitting in my documents for literal YEARS but I knew I needed something to get me to commit to doing it. I’m so glad to finally do it.

“Look, thank you for your hospitality but I’ll be fine.” She insists. “If you can just point me to the path, I’ll be going.” She moves towards the door, but Granny stops her. “Listen lady-“ But the old woman just shakes her head. 

 “I’m not stopping you Emma.” She assures. “But you can’t go running around in those rags. I have a few things that might fit you.” Emma looks down at her clothes. The dress she’s wearing are completely ruined; sea water having done its job on the skirt and the rip in the back is too bad for a regular patch. 

“Now I have an adventurer’s tunic legend has it that the one who wore this-“ 

But Emma cuts her off, not even glancing at the green she holds, looking straight at a dark blue and brown vest and pants respectively. “Will this work?” She asks. Emma glances at the clothes Granny is about to offer. “Sorry green isn’t my color.” 

The old woman looks a little shocked before she nods. “Perfect.” 

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

I am looking forward to seeing what everyone creates and to read all the wonderful fics these events always inspire.

Feels like forever! Haha, I started lurking around in the midseason break of season 5 but took a few months to start posting, so I’m going to call it four years.

The moment I saw them on screen together, haha! I don’t remember exactly when that was, but many, many years ago now.

What drew you to this event? 

I’ve had ideas for a Being Human AU kicking around in my head for actual years and I wanted to use this deadline to finally get it written.

What inspired your topic? 

I absolutely adore the vampire Hal who joined Being Human in the fourth season and a screechy flaily type conversation was had with the ever-amazing Laura, @welllpthisishappening​ about how Killian has similarities with him.

It’s important that you know something from the start: the world you know is stranger and more terrible than you can imagine. Let’s not beat about the bush; here there be monsters. They don’t lurk in the shadows but hide in plain sight. Don’t go thinking this is all some grand metaphor. We’re here to talk about the real monsters in the world - the vampires, the werewolves, the ghosts. They live amongst us with no handy combusting in daylight or sparkling in the sun to help us distinguish them from anyone else. This story is about a very specific monster: Killian Jones aka Captain Hook, vampire. Polite, conscientious and law-abiding citizen defying all those terrifying vampire clichés and only feeding on animal blood. Except when he isn’t. How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom? 

I have been in the OuaT fandom since the summer before season three began. My best friend and I discovered it and pretty much mainlined the first two seasons just in time to join the “Save Henry” mission to Neverland.

When did you start shipping Captain Swan? 

I would say they were on my radar for sheer chemistry all the way back to the beanstalk, but honestly considering them a real potential couple didn’t come until about the time she gave him the “You and I, we understand each other” speech at the end of season two, and he then turned his ship around and offered it and his services in going after Henry.

What drew you to this event? 

Well, the simple answer is my online friendship with Krystal and my intense desire to discover and read all of the werewolf!Killian fics there are. ;)  Beyond that though, it led me to so many other great fics of all supernatural varieties, so many new friends, and so much fun!!  (And, over the last two summers, it finally gave me the courage and the push to write the werewolf story of my own that I had rolling around in my brain.)

What inspired your topic? 

My first one shot for this year’s event was inspired by a prompt on Tumblr that I just couldn’t get out of my head - that an attempt to right something that had a traditional fairy tale tone/feeling to the writing style. The second (which may or may not stay a one shot) is a little less fleshed out in my mind at this point, but the idea really came to me initially from a line in a song.

Once, not-so-very long ago, in a cozy village on the eastern seaboard, a town right up by the ocean waves crashing onto the rocky shores, a rather peculiar story took place. The little burg was quite isolated. Surrounded by the Atlantic on one side and the Maine woods on two others, it almost seemed as though the little place - Storybrooke was its name - had been forgotten by time and the rest of the world. There was, of course, a road in from the south, bu it seemed that very few newcomers ever traveled it; either unable to see, or unconcerned with discovering, its presence.

 Instead, Storybrooke, Maine was quiet and close-knit; the people banded in solidarity by time and trust, just as the houses and shops huddled together against the chill sea air and harsh winter squalls. They were a rough and craggy lot, but will a quaint and beguiling self-reliance and simplicity to them as well. 

All except one of their number, that is. The beautiful woman who lived in the old mansion on the hill at the far edge of town. She was different, an exotic treasure, who had arrived in town and made herself at home some years ago. (Exactly when, no one could recall.) In some ways, she seemed ill-suited to such a small, staid little outpost, and yet, she never appeared dissatisfied. And where the neighborhood gossips and old-timers might have often closed ranks, refusing to accept such a mysterious newcomer, watching suspiciously and whispering behind their hands, she had wormed her way into their good graces.

Who/what have you beta’d before, or is this your first time? Feel free to give as much info as you like. 

I haven’t done a lot of beta-ing, but I have had wonderful experiences so far. I beta-read for Melanie (@searchingwardrobes) in last year’s CSSNS event, which I THOROUGHLY enjoyed - I felt like I was getting a sneak peek of a much anticipated movie before its release! I also beta-read @darkcolinodonorgasm’s Pupstravaganza fic, to my utter delight! I have beta-read a couple other MCs along the way, and I’m thinking I’d have fun being a beta even more often in the future.

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event? 

All the Discord conversations, ideas, fangirling, and cheering each other on - not to mention all the ideas that flourish there. Really digging into my stories for this summer and making progress. Beta reading for my author this time around (I’ve only read a few pages so far, and I already can’t wait for more of it!)

Marta is one of my very favorite authors in this incredibly talented fandom and is a dear friend as well. I’m so excited that she has more for us this year and can’t wait to see them!!! She will be dropping fic on June 9 and July 5, and betaing for @xhookswenchx​ in the third wave. Everyone go tell her hi and welcome her back to the event!!!

What drew you to this event?

My biggest enabler, and one of my best friends @kmomof4 asked me to co-mod with her. Then she and another of my best friends @hollyethecurious ganged up on me (aka Hollye told Krystal I’d been toying with the thought of writing for the event), and they somehow managed to talk me into writing a piece. *keep your eye on them, they’re squirrely* :D

What inspired your topic? 

It’s a retelling *Sorta* of ‘The Mummy’ with Brendan Fraser. I’ve had it on the back burner for some time but just haven’t had the time to actually sit down and flesh it out, and make it into the CS fic I’ve had running through my head. :)

I was thinking about Disney films that OUAT didn’t cover, and suddenly an idea popped into my mind for Lilo and Stitch.

‘supernatural’ is such a hugely diverse genre and I thought I’d play around with a new idea to get me back in the writing game

probably the most anticlimactic answer, but i believe i just saw an image when searching for a prompt that inspired my topic

The first time he meets her, she is but a wee infant. Wrapped in a loosely knit baby blanket, the winter air passes straight through and chills her to the bone. She doesn’t shiver; she is days old and her body only knows to answer pain with tears. She wails, cold and hungry and lonely, until she can’t any more. He kneels close, wishing he could provide her the warmth she needs. But, alas, Death is not able to offer such comforts to the living.

“Emma,” he says, reading the stitching on her blanket. His left hand, just bone and no flesh from wrist to fingertips, reaches out to delicately trace the letters. Emma whimpers and he pulls away. He should know better.

It would be so easy to kiss away her suffering now, end her life before it’s begun, but something holds him back. A whisper, a faint hope in the air that her clock may not be done ticking just yet. If she can just hold out a little bit longer.

He waits, patiently, until he hears the distant rumble of tires on gravel. He waits. The car passes by, but then stops. He waits with the babe until the old woman’s short heels clack against the pavement, and she gasps at the sight of an abandoned child by the road. She scoops her up, sunken eyes watering as she tries to feel for a pulse through icy skin. She mutters hurriedly to herself as she returns to the car that she must get the babe to the hospital; she may yet survive.

Death doesn’t linger. He can feel that today was not right for this young one. Someday, he knows, he will see her again. No one lives forever.

How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom? 

Since the very beginning! I started watching OUAT when it first aired, intrigued by the premise the show presented back when I needed hope most of all. While I wasn’t as active in the fandom as I wanted to be, I was still around, loving Emma Swan and Killian Jones with all my heart!

When did you start shipping CaptainSwan? 

The episode that started it all: Tallahassee! I remember sitting at my desk, attempting to get something done that night but failing miserably because Once was on TV. Emma had just uncovered the dead bodies to find the Captain and boy was I hooked! I knew there would be something between these two, and the epic journey they had on the beanstalk solidified that for me!

What drew you to this event?

The supernatural stuff and things of the like are my roots. When I first started my foray into fanfiction, and even some original fiction, they mainly included some sort of supernatural element. Now I finally get a chance to incorporate two wonderful ideas together, and get to dust the cobwebs off some ideas I’ve been letting sit there for quite too long!

What inspired your topic? 

Since I’ll be posting on not one day but two, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to dive into some ideas I’ve been postponing. The first idea is inspired by my love of the TV show Lucifer, and after the 5B plot of Killian in the Underworld, my gears started turning.

As for my second idea? It may be combining my love of the TV show iZombie and Captain Swan, or it may be me revisiting my love of Vampires. We’ll just have to stay tuned for these!
