Hey hey! It's Artists Everyday! Okay so here's the rundown; I should be posting one of these every single day. I get so caught up in my own art/my own life, or the perceived success that other artists and people I follow on social media gets that I always end up saying "tomorrow" even when my entire life's mantra is to "do it today". HEY HEY! It's Artists Everyday! I think one of my favorite things about this project is that I'll get the chance to share my ABSOLUTE favorite artists with all of you guys. And they'll be able to become your favorite artists too! And that energy will carry over and everyone wins! Today's AED is a Crazy talented artist with a huge following: @actionhankbeard -- Four years ago, his profile sparked me to start drawing with copic markers and to start reconsidering the lane I wanted to take as a visual artist. I STILL haven't figured it out, but I'm thankful for the inspiration and the FIRE that this man's work lights under my ass. Time and time again he hits me with both original work and fanart that I can't even COMPREHEND, because his use of shading and linework is so damn clean and deliberate (and clearly I'm not the only one that feels that way). -- FOLLOW HIM RIGHT NOW IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD. -- I think there's probably some way to format these AED posts so that anytime someone comes across them not only do they get to discover an artist and their work, but also the mission statement of what I'm trying to do, so for now at least, bear with me (if you don't want to go to the last AED post and read the Mission Statement, I'm not adding it here (sue me.)
