The other day I was having a conversation with @chloeeleos; and we were talking about Portlandia, ancient theatre, and how effortlessly Fred Armisen + Carrie Brownstein can reverse gender roles-- I started thinking about how easy (or hard) it would be to reverse age roles on film (and determined it'd be MUCH easier to do on stage), where makeup and lighting allows you to suspend your disbelief just a touch better than watching something happen on a screen.
