As a black artist, I want to make sure that along with all of the stupid things that I draw, I continue drawing and speaking on topics that are important to me. I'm glad we still have heroes. I'm glad we still have people speaking out against all of the atrocities happening to my people on a daily basis; and to other beautiful brown people around this country and around the world. Im glad we have people there to advocate for those of the LGBT communities & any other community seen as 'less than' in the eyes of society. I'm glad we have advocates who understand that ALL shades, tones & hues are beautiful, and ALL people no matter who you are deserve a voice and UNDENIABLY equal rights. This is a 'Thank you' to the voices for the voiceless. To the protestors. To anyone who listens. We're still working. We're still fighting.
