So I'm fully in a Transformers Prime binge rewatch and holy SMOKES I did not remember how gay this show was. Like obviously Starscream is twinktown central and Knockout is very flamboyant, yes--but Megatron is so obsessed with Optimus (and vice versa) it's not even funny! Does anyone think about how when Orion stepped in front of D-16, that he was doing it just to talk face to face and not to actually take the hit? Because I can't stop thinking about that. That he wasn't moving in front for some sacrificial shit, to "save" Sentinel but because he wanted to look his closest friend in the face, to properly speak to him, but he had been too late. Just that tad too late where the canon was already going on and he was suddenly being blasted, which is why he's so shocked. That just because of the burning, numbing pain but because he just hadn't expected it. I think about that.

yeah exactly. either that or he was trying to push Dee's cannon/arm away like he did previously so Dee would miss again. but he was that tad too late... I'm crazy over that scene, it breaks my heart seeing Dee's face, Orion's face. None of them wanted it, yet it happened and it's irreversible. Dee really thought he accidentally killed the closest person to him and when he couldn't forgive himself, his pure rage came out and turned into Megatron. i hate this movie

Exactly this but people still think Orion Pax cared about Sentinel more than D-16...

Orion wanted to have Sentinel killed/imprisoned for life anyway, just not execute him right there without a trial or something because that would make them the 'bad guys' and probably cause a huge insurrection between the higher classes who supported sentinel bc they actually benefit from his exploitation of the miners 😭

Plus, having Sentinel alive can be a great advantage because this bitch has been working with the Quintessions and he may have some valuable intels on their enemies (And also we can catch the right accomplices instead of rampant witch hunts that would end up catching thr wrong persons).

THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE,,, YEAH. even have him fool the quintessons by using him as a bait and then the high guard can attack them by surprise along with the ex-miners

No cause I genuinely believe pax didn't consider d would NOT HESITATE to shoot either-- I mean d immediately fired the SECOND he had his arm up-- leaving NO ROOM for pax to intervene in the FIRST PLACE
