Some of Van Gogh’s best work was done during a period of his life that he spent in a hospital being treated for his mental health problems. I could be wrong but I think Starry Night was among those.

This is consistently the case. Creators tend to do their best work when they are in a healthy place and receiving proper treatment and not being self destructive in their efforts to cope. Go figure.

All our experiences, good and bad, inform what we create, but suffering is not the price of great art. Suffering is what prevents artists from completing great art.

It would be very funny to me if a rumor spread across the decepticons (and even the autobots to a degree) that one of the members of decepticon high command is pregnant

(none of them are actually pregnant)

(but mecha think one of them is carrying)

I think it would be even funnier if they first learned about pregnancy here on Earth. Nobody actually knows how it works, they just know that's how organics make more small organics. So this rumor is partly horror because everyone now thinks somebody's fucked an organic and has a parasite inside of them and they quietly getting their guns ready in case it's a dangerous one

TFP Optimus Prime plushie

Commission, made for paixchasseu

He’s finally done. I’m not sure how long he’s taken, because I stopped counting after 100 hours, but it’s been nearly 6 months worth of weekends spent working on him but I am finally, finally finished.

Optimus is 24" to the tip of his crest, and made from minky, with a plastic armature and safety joints. His windows are organza with a layer of transparent PVC, so they’re slightly see through :3

He was made to this design by Laserbot

Nearly all of the pieces were sewn on the sewing machine, and then he was hand stitched together. All the embroidery was done using the button hole stitch on the sewing machine, and the dots on his smoke stacks were done with a SetaSkrib fabric pen. His Autobot symbols are patches, custom made by SoapyBacon 

Very soon he’ll have his own weapon and tiny little Megatron plush, but he’s needed for Botcon and I’ve run out of time to get all his little accessories done.

He’s ended up even more complex than my previous Knock Out plush, and whilst it been a damn long and frustrating job to make him, I’m so happy with him you just have no idea :’D Mostly I love his legs but oh man I’m so proud of his face too oh man~

Unfortunately, due to the fact that I’ve wanted to punch myself in the face more or less constantly for 6 months, I’m not making any more plushies to this level of detail for a good long while :C

TF One Bits I Can't Get Over

  • The way the strata of Cybertron moves out of the way to let Orion pass untouched on his way to Primus' Core
  • The symbolism of D-16's death and Megatron's birth occurring at the same time as Orion's death and Optimus Prime's birth. When they meet again in Iacon, there are truly not the same bots that were there a few moments ago
  • The partial, half and full-transformations that occur in the final battle. The removal of parts and just transforming to reconnect them in seconds
  • The fact that Starscream's scratchy voice is due to Megatron nearly crushing his voice box and rendering him mute completely (which we know he does to 'Bee in other iterations)
  • The fact that Starscream is the SIC because he was the boss prior to D-16 mopping the floor with him, and the core trio that support Megatron (Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave) all already being the formidable leaders of the cabal, and Starscream's desperation to reach the top is not him wanting to attain a position he's never known, but a position that was stolen from him
  • The majority of the Autobots being friends and coworkers of Orion prior to his promotion to Prime- lowly civilians who choose to take up the fight under his guidance- while the majority of the Decepticons are pre-established warriors whose command is chosen not by comradery, but by shows of force and power.
  • The slow change in D-16's optics from yellow to orange to red over the course of the movie's second half, showing his slow descent into madness and rage.
  • Starscream going to hide during the attack on the High Guard and still getting captured.
  • All of the cameos
  • Despite Orion only knowing Alpha Trion for a few minutes, he remembers his words and uses them to rally the Miners later.
  • The bots in the train Orion lands on in the beginning of the movie just going "Ugh, Orion-" signifying that he does this A LOT

So I'm fully in a Transformers Prime binge rewatch and holy SMOKES I did not remember how gay this show was. Like obviously Starscream is twinktown central and Knockout is very flamboyant, yes--but Megatron is so obsessed with Optimus (and vice versa) it's not even funny! Here's a compilation of the best moments from *just the first half of S1*:

  • Megatron returns after who knows how long and one of the first things out of his mouth is "No one rids me of Optimus Prime except me!!"
  • Megatron "dies" and Optimus is immediately depressed to the point where Ratchet asks about it and unlocks Sad Reminiscing
  • The Autobots are trying to figure out what the Decepticons are up to and Optimus starts with "Starscream is no Megatron, but--" just say you miss him
  • Megatron is literally comatose and his coma dream is him and Optimus fighting over and over again. Optimus just keeps respawning. Bro is LITERALLY living in his head rent free
  • In fact when Bumblebee gets inside Megatron's head Optimus is literally the First Thing he sees
  • Why is Bee in there? Because Optimus is deathly sick! And one of the only things that rouses Optimus from his nearly catatonic state? Learning Megatron is alive!
  • Megatron is also the only one who has the knowledge to save him so now they're both on their deathbeds together and their fates are linked etc. etc.
  • Bumblebee gets the info he needs by telling Megatron that if he doesn't give them the cure, Optimus will die (and Megatron will therefore not get to kill him)
  • Megatron (who had figured out this was all about Optimus before Bee even told him): "After our deep history together, to NOT watch the spark ebb from his eyes with my very own...well played, Scout." And then he gives him the cure
  • Starscream is about to kill Optimus and Megatron--as the FIRST thing he does after getting out of his coma--literally knocks him out of the sky, saves Optimus's life (priorities), and completely lets Optimus go. Which brings the Deliberately Saving Optimus's Life count up to 2!

Will add on as the show continues, but this is just like. 14 episodes in. At this point, forget allegations, they've been fully tried and convicted lol
