It must be YoryakWandee. Not WandeeYoryak, right? Why? Why can’t it be that? Come here and brush your teeth. [...] Is that correct? Yes. No, it must be this. Come on, Doc. The first letter of my name comes before yours. That's the Thai alphabetical order.

My good man, can we get an E for AkkAyan in the house tonight?
(I don't know why I'm talking like that. Imagine we're in a deli I guess)
🧡🧡🧡
I've been craving some AkkAyan myself! Hope you enjoy 🧡
Akk would like the record to show that this had not been his idea—in fact, he had very adamantly refused—but unfortunately, Kan was stronger than him and didn’t like being told no. So now, for reasons he couldn’t even begin to fathom, he and Kan were hiding in the back of the library, staring through the blank spaces in a bookshelf towards the table where Aye and Thua were sitting.
“Have you lost your mind?” Akk hissed, yanking his arm out of Kan’s grip. This time, Kan let him. There was no way he could run now without making a scene and Kan knew it.
Kan shushed him as if he was the one being ridiculous and then stuck his face closer to the stacks to get a better look at his crush across the room. You know, like a stalker.
“Kan!”
“I just want to see what they’re doing!”
And because Akk was apparently a little bit of a stalker himself, he peered out too.
Aye and Thua were sitting on the same side of one of the library’s rickety old tables, huddled over a textbook. They were talking, but they were too far away to make out their words. Nevertheless, Kan seemed bothered by their proximity.
“They’re just studying,” Akk said. “You know, like we should be doing.”
Kan ignored him. “But they’re sitting really close together, don’t you think? Too close.”
Aye and Thua weren’t even touching. Akk rolled his eyes. “I think you’ve lost your mind,” he snapped, turning to glare at Kan, but as he did so, his elbow hit a book on the shelf and knocked it to the floor with a loud thud. Kan dropped out of sight immediately, but Akk, who was still new to this whole eavesdropping thing, was slower on the uptake. He stayed standing even as Aye turned to investigate the noise and for one split second, Akk could have sworn their eyes met. Then, Kan pulled him to the floor.
“Did they see you?” Kan hissed.
“No,” Akk snapped even though he wasn’t sure it was true. “And even if they did, so what? It’s the library!”
Kan waved him off and went back to his sleuthing, only this time he was watching from the floor and it seemed to yield better results because suddenly, Aye was sitting much closer to Thua. He stretched out his arm and let it rest on the back of Thua’s chair. He passed him a pen and let his touch linger.
It was almost as if he knew someone was watching.
“I fucking told you something was going on between them,” Kan hissed, nearly shaking with anger.
Akk rolled his eyes. What had he done to deserve this life? How had he ended up here?
Luckily for Aye, who was only seconds away from being punched in the face by Kan, Thua gave up on studying after only a few minutes and excused himself.
“See,” Akk pointed out to Kan. “They’re not leaving together. That’s good, right?”
“It’s suspicious,” Kan said, using Akk’s shoulder as leverage to stand. “You stay with Aye. I’ll follow Thua.”
“But why?”
Kan didn’t bother to offer an explanation. Within seconds, he was gone, leaving Akk alone on the floor. He heaved a deep sigh, mentally preparing to pick himself up off the ground, but when he risked a glance through the bookshelf to make sure Aye was sufficiently distracted, he found that he was no longer there. No sooner had the thought registered than a throat cleared in front of him.
Akk turned ever so slowly to find Aye standing there with his arms crossed over his chest. “Are you stalking me now?” he asked with a smirk.
Akk rolled his eyes and stood, no longer bothering to be stealthy. “What if I am?”
Aye’s face lit up the way it always did when Akk was mean to him and then he looked over one shoulder, then the other, before leaning in and kissing Akk on the lips.
Akk made a half-hearted noise of protest, but he kissed him back anyway. He always did.
“You’re really bad at this whole ‘secret relationship’ thing, you know?” Akk asked, finally pushing Aye away. Aye just laughed.
“I told you I would be. But enough about me. What about you? Why are you hiding from me?”
“Kan,” Akk cursed. “He’s convinced you and Thua are dating.”
“And instead of telling him the truth, your brilliant solution was to camp out in the library and catch us in the act?”
“Obviously, it wasn’t my idea.”
Luckily, Aye was amused by the dramatics. He wrapped his arms around Akk’s waist and held him tight. “You need to tell him we’re dating, Akk. Before he murders me.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Akk said, but he knew it was true. He kissed Aye’s forehead, his heart feeling so very full, and he hoped that Kan would one day find a happiness like this as well. Akk would tell his friends tomorrow. Kan could sweat it out for one night. It was what he deserved.
